They were going to in Rochester but then let the brewer go they hired because they were investing too much money in DC and IPA related ventures I guess.

This is way more exciting than the midnight ball drop.

Also, if it wasn't too early, i'd come out for a run in the park some saturday morning. It's an hour and a half drive for me.

You mean he says it to non-TMNT named people too?

Pastry stouts are an IPA break coming from the other side of the spectrum.

But I hate the sweet stuff, I'm the guy who scraps off the frosting and only eats half the slice of cake.

Exactly. Let the super sweet turn you back on to the only kind of sweet.

Now that I'm googling it, I see it.

Also what do we think about a Friday meetup in January? 10th, 17th, or 24th? We can get @Xerlic and other commuters maybe and @stevebrownsteve has mentioned Fridays are good.

Edit: Not Other Half related, but we could always meetup somewhere other than OH. LIC Beer Project, a good craft beer bar, or whatever on a Friday.

I live around the corner from As Is so if I could suggest anywhere, that would be it. They frequently have an Other Half or two on as well (still, on topic). Their event for the brewery a few months ago pulled in such a weird crowd.

My Fridays are pretty open for the rest of the month, so I'd be down.

I heard there will be a NYE release this week...not sure if that means it will replace Saturday or if it will be a slightly larger midweek drop (or a typical midweek for that matter).

If it isn't OH, the place would have to have a very lenient policy towards suspicious bags of white powder, spandex, and mobile philosophy libraries. Are we sure there's anywhere else that checks all those boxes?

I had one of the Nighthawks yesterday, pretty good stuff. I didn't get much marshmallow except maybe a little on the nose though. I think ETNYC are the masters of marshmallow.

New Year's Eve release! Tomorrow, Tuesday 12/31 we're dropping three IPAs for all your NYE needs! For sale at noon at the corner warehouse. ⠀
    ------------⠀
HDHC More Citra Than All Citra Imperial IPA(10.5%) the most Citra we do in one place. We are going for the biggest baddest aromatics we can and it represents around 15 lbs/bbl but with our combo of hop products its as smooth as ever. $24 per 4 pack, 1 case per person.⠀
    ⠀
DDH Nelson Daydream Oat Cream IPA(6.5%) our 100% hand selected Nelson Sauvin hops from our buds @freestylehops paired up with a ton of oats and a hint of lactose. This batch is double dry hopped for even more awesomeness. $18 per 4 pack, 1 case per person.⠀
    ⠀
DDH Space Daydream Imperial Oat Cream IPA(8.5%) galaxy + oats + lactose = awesome. $20 per 4 pack, 1 case per person.

Hope the drop is quiet...but when Phish rolls into town that place can be a madhouse. Wanna grab a 4 of the HDHC More Citra for NYE.

15 lbs per barrel is insane. It seems like it was only a few years ago that 6 lbs per barrel was a remarkable amount of hopping.
