It's still okay, but perhaps it's excellent fresh. Given no canning date that's hard to tell!

I was at a brewery in Braintree MA called Widowmaker yesterday with friends after we did a New Years Day hike, and I couldn’t resist going home with a four pack of this NEIPA, mainly because of its name - Ecstasy of Gold which is one of my favorite tracks in one of my favorite movies!
The beer isn’t bad either!

 

Pliny in SF. I have lots of mixed feelings about this city, but Pliny always smoothes them out.

 

Blocks Of Light DDH hazebro that I picked up at Outer Range last week. Pretty solid as they go and much welcome after taking down some Christmas decorations and doing a doggo photo shoot.



Miss Bailey has a birthday today and I've documented every one since we got her. Yes we love our pups!

 

Drinking southern tonight boys. First beer was brewed in John’s Creek, Georgia. Second beer was brewed in FarmVille, North Carolina. This beer is brewed in Asheville, North Carolina. No Virginia beer tonight though. If I decide to follow the “Dry January” that seems to be catching on, my next Virginia beer will be in February.

Melvin is world-class, IMHO, especially with hop-forward beers. This is no exception.
