More Windows Up from Alpine, California. a nice more fruity IPA but enough bitterness to balance it well. It's a nice change. HFS is good too. Duet the same. I sure enjoyed my 3 days in San Diego last month. Took a chance on driving out to Alpine Tasting Room and was greeted with friendly people, great beer and light traffic, so that's really a highlight for me because the wife enjoyed it too. Seafood and beer was overwhelming and I tried to get as much as I could while I was there. Even ordered Calamari at the Corvette Diner. Great for the kids though. Boat Shoes Hazy IPA and Societe Pupil were remarkable beers too.

The print is after a painting by Polish artist
Alfred Kowalski entitled "Lone Wolf", ca. 1900. My grandparents had a copy in their farmhouse when I was small, so it has sentimental meaning for me. Some of you guys may have seen it before. Anyway, this is a pretty solid farmhouse ale from a Texas brewery. I kinda like the juxtaposition. Happy New year!

Thanks to @Hinda65 for this Brandy Barrel Aged Devastator!

Always been a fan of that beer and this one takes it in a different direction. The honey and brandy notes definitely take over but there's still elements of caramel and peat in there that keep it grounded. Only major complaint is that the feel is a bit watery, but so is the original to a lesser extent. Nice stuff, 4.11 out of 5.

My last Windows Up. It was a good beer. I have too many IPA's that need to be drunk. And that's where I'm at. Corsairs Forever. F4U-1A

True story.. When I first had this beer 4-5 years ago it was NOTHING like the version being brewed today. Before the haze craze had brewers nationwide scrambling to cater to the masses, this beer was perfectly clear and dank as all hell. Used to be able to crack a bottle and smell it from across the room.. I'd give anything to try that version again, these juice bombs are one-note by comparison. Cheers!

Mikkeller SD Freddie Murkury. Fantastic NEDIPA. Lasting rocky head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, minty, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts, some sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing resin bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Very smooth/soft, not aggressive, minimal warming 9.2%. Fantastic Simcoe, Mosaic profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Spot on stuff as usual! Loved the hop profile as expected. 4.23
