For me, it's a stout but I'll drink anything that's festive and helps keep me warm. What's your preferred style now that the new year is here?

IPA till I die. Cold or warm. I will always be drinking some sort of IPA

I voted something else, but stouts are probably what I drink most. I like variety more than sticking with a single style, so I drink porter's, bocks, dopplebocks, scotch ales, or anything that is malty. Holiday beers are just for around the holidays unless I happen upon a supply of Jubelale.

Generally I drink more dark beers during winter but I don't really have a go to style for the season. I'm just as likely to be holding a gose as a BBA stout depending what mood you catch me in.

I found it difficult to find holiday beers this year. Apart from Winter Welcome by Sam Smith, which is really just a pale ale, there were only holiday Belgian strong ales around...which I don't seek out.

I drank a fair amount of Taddy Porter and Guinness Draught cans. I also drank a great deal of Normandy ciders, which seemed festive to me for some reason.

Voted for stouts, as that's my go-to style for "warm me up from the inside." I'd never say no to a good porter, though. I do definitely need to improve my brown ale game, always enjoy good ones... rarely ever seek them out...

I like variety year-round, so I don't have Winter go-to style per se. But dark styles do make up a greater percentage of what I drink than during other seasons (I don't drink dark styles at all during Summer). That said, on particularly cold winter nights I have a tendency to reach for a barleywine/old ale/stout.

FIS, FBS, KBS, KBBS, Helltown Sanctuary, any big gnarly stout as a treat.

Murphy's for drinking socially/more than one, or SN Celebration/NN as a monkey wrench to mix it up. But yeah. Stout.

My vote went to stouts. I am a "seasonal" drinker, so my tastes change along with the weather.
In the months November thru April, I drink the darker stuff, headlined by stouts, but I do mix in other styles like brown ales, Belgian Strong Dark Ales/Quads, Olde Ales, etc.

For some reason, I love a good German Export or Helles in the winter and I love when the Bock beers start rolling out

I've never much cared for attaching "seasons" to beer. I drink and brew whatever style of beer I want when I want. Seasons be damned! For the record, I chose stouts. Probably should have chose something else.

Voted Stout, although it really is a bit of a go-to year round, depending on cuisine. That said, it is too easy to enjoy a well made Winter Warmer or Belgian Dark Ale on a cold, Winter day. My tastes unquestionably "lighten up" during the Spring and Summer.

I stick with IPAs and their variants no matter what the weather is like. But I do crave the occasional Porter when it gets chilly outside.

I drink Porter, scotch ale, stout year round, but I drink more in the winter. The only beers I add to the rotation are brown ales and, around the holidays, winter warmers and old ale/barleywine. Beers that are dropped from rotation include kolsch, gose and pilsner.

I put stouts as I drink and buy most of my stouts during the winter. However, I still mix it up a lot and probably still drink ipas the most.

I really miss Young's Oatmeal Stout, and Smuttynose Robust Porter. Now I buy Foothills Frostbite Black IPA, a seasonal, that is really a damned hoppy porter. It is very good and satisfying.....
