    2014 is tasting fantastic. Found it on a singles shelf recently. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roasted coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, roasted nuts, biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of licorice, dark fruits, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, and yeast earthiness. Milk roast/char bitterness, and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Mild carbonation and full body; very creamy/silky/velvety malts; light slickness, chalky roast, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tannin dryness; no cloying/acrid/astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 11.2%/barrel booze. Way less fruity/nutty coffee presence, but the barrel integration is perfect.

    Tired Hands - An Unconscious Encore

    I didn't finish this last night, so I'm having a pour before work, which leaves a pour for when I get home. I love these bottle savers. Really comes in handy for 750s and big stouts that I'm not looking to smoke in one go.

    This might be cheating but it was a late night on the west coast so I didn’t get a chance to post it. Drank the 12 days of Christmas from the bruery last night. All but partridge and 3 French hens were barrel aged, which I think helped hold the beers up because they were all good.

    Taking advantage of the holiday decor before it all comes down. Picked this up out of curiosity and really found it to be a wonderful alternative to some of the heavier winter warmers. If you've got 'em, pour 'em. Sláinte!

    Hazy light gold color with white cap.

    Nice aroma of ripe yellow fruit, banana, clove and spice.

    On entry this one sings. Led by rich, ripe fruit, hint of banana, clove, spicy floral sensations with layers of flavor which deepen as the glass is emptied.
