I went to the first public release today and it ran very smoothly. They moved the kin inside which will be appreciated during the upcoming winter months. Cash only meant the line moved quickly. There were some excellent beers shared and the option to buy the raspberry marshmallow Berliner was a nice surprise. I definitely look forward to future releases in Griffith

Is this a membership only place/no taproom kinda deal?

no taproom and there is a membership but you didn’t need to be a member to buy bottles today (3 orange creamsicles and 1 raspberry marshmallow). They also shared out the blue raspberry and green apple berliners which was a nice surprise

I'll have to make my way out there for the next release, I couldn't get out today. So these are actually good dessert berliners? Are they going for the "slushy" style?

They aren’t the fruit purée style. But they are going for jolly rancher style flavors. So I enjoy those as a share beer though they aren’t for everyone

While I dig the matte black bottles they appear to be using, a brewery focusing on hard candy and popsicle-style berliners is an easy pass for me.

Tried my first beer from them the other night. The blue raspberry berliner. Tasted like they just dumped snow cone syrup in it...wasn't a fan.

The video of the release at Viking's Facebook page, showing a long line of black-clad Millenials waiting joylessly for fruit candy sours, was the perfect encapsulation of Late Stage Craftilism.

Black-clad people brought indoors, bottle sharing, and talking to each other is joyless? I’ll make sure I wear my neon jacket next time to defy the expectations of the doppelbock bro’s

Not trying to shit on a brand new brewery, but ‘Indiana Weisse’ is fucking terrible. Huge ugh. I kind of imagine the brewery reading my comment and giving me a giant shrug. I dunno whether to call it a moniker or what, but it’s not something I am a fan of.

everyone raved about this beer. I may have went last week to stand in line for this beer. I do not understand the hype for this beer.

Artificially flavored candy beer n slushees. IN beer scene is looking quite elementary.
