Have a good Sunday. I played a lot of Super Metroid yesterday evening, and then I went to sleep around 6PM and got up at 4AM when one of my friends got back from the casino and needed a place to chill. I was playing Megaman X a bit earlier, and now playing Kirbys Dream Land 3. I will have to get a game boy ROMs to play the first 2 games. I have an emulator that can do all of the old school systems.


Drafting Table Blackberry Tarty Slip. Outstanding Berliner. Lasting fluffy head retention/thick foamy lacing. Lovely ruby/purple color. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy blackberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red/green apple, currant, red grape/wine, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit malts; light peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, light-medium body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very creamy/grainy wheat; some lactic acid, and fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy dryness; no pucker/astringency. Very flavorful/refreshing, mellowly lactic, not watery for 5%. Awesome balance of big juicy/jammy berries and Lacto complexity; with a nice sized pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. Love it. 4.18

Playing some smash bros now. Got an extra controller now, so probably going to be playing multiplayer in a bit here.


Cigar City Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. Incredible brown ale. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cream, raisin, toasted oats, biscuit dough, and brown bread/crust; with light notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toffee, molasses, herbal/grassy hop, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness and cinnamon spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very creamy, silky, velvety mouthfeel. Slight sticky hops, chalky roast. Slightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy dryness, no cloying. Insanely smooth, 5.5%. This was wonderful. Spot on English style. Very rich/well rounded malt complexity and balanced raisin/spice/lactose flavors; with restrained fruity English yeast and mild earthy hops against sweetness. Glad these finally hit the state. Hope we see a new batch. These were from last March. 4.28

Me and my friend decided to take a breakfast break from gaming. He had a BK gift card so we both got 2 for $4 croissantwiches with sausage/bacon, and Egg-Normous Breakfast Burritos. And I got a large meal with hash browns and coke zero. REALLY hit the spot after being up since 4AM. I took him back to his place after we ate in the dining room.


Probably going to fire up Skyrim now. I am stuck in the sewers with people to kill and I keep dying.

Evil Twin I Plan On Writing An Epic Poem About This Gorgeous IPA. Awesome. Lasting head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness, minimal lingering hop astringency. Nicely soft and not overly aggressive, minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Awesome Galaxy, Amarillo, Falconers Flight profile. Very vibrant, juicy, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Very impressive as expected of ET. 4.13

Rest of the NBS BIF beers this week. Boundary Bay Cedar Dust IPA. Awesome. Lasting head retention/thick foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, light caramel/nutty, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Smooth, not overly aggressive. Feels like Columbus, Mosaic, Simcoe, Centennial, and Chinook. Extremely juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice solid bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Spot on west coast style. 4.13
