Unless she's a regular on this site. Then, it could be like bird displaying its plumage.

I'm not much on glassware anymore, but, once upon a time, I was. Well, maybe 15 years or so ago, my bosses house burnt down and they lost everything in it. Fortunately, he owned a rental property that happened to be empty, but it was empty. Folks were donating what they could to get the place livable; cleaning it up, giving various furniture and clothes, etc. None of my clothes would have come close to fitting either of them, what could I give? Beer glasses! I took a few random shakers, and one of every other style I had and said "here, now you can at least have a beer at home".

Fast forward to about a month ago. There's box of random glasses in a back room at work, and a couple of look a bit familiar. I ask, and the answer was that Janet and Ed had so much stuff, that things had to go, and I was welcome to take what I wanted. And that, my friends, is how I got my La Fin du Mond Tulip and Brooklyn Brewing Hefeweizen glasses back. The Brooklyn glass had traveled west with me when I moved out here.

Yeah. I might just go ahead and dump that mug. I have some old steins that I used when I was young. One of them is pewter I believe. I went ahead and stopped using it when I found out how much lead is in it.

I have many beer vessels. No more Spieglau ever again, IPA,stout,Wheat. They all explode like they have a small charge, minute beer fragments 15 feet from the drop zone. They are super thin for beer temperature. And produce really dangerous shards to pets and people alike. They also wander off tables at the slightest music or movement. I will stick to Libby and Teku-

No, not a pick up line - just mentioning that I am now single as most guys would probably wonder how a dude's wife / girlfriend etc would deal with this much glassware, etc.....I had a very nice Colombian gf until recently, and she lived with me for nearly 2 years - we broke up for reasons unrelated to beer or glassware! Ah well....the search continues - for more glasses and fun women!

I'd like to see a pic of how you display your collection.

Thanks for the interest! No grand display scheme - just some book shelves and shelving that has been cobbled together as the collection has grown over time - some day it would be awesome to have them displayed, by brewery, country, type, etc.....right now that is not the case

I have one that's about that size, but there's an ongoing debate as to whether or not it's actually a vase:

I will continue to drink my Scotch ales out of this while cropping and/or vignetting the base out of any future photographs so as not to incite any further debate.:stuck_out_tongue::sunglasses::grin:

@Lingenbrau a few years back was the glass supervisor and would often post a little blue guy when he saw a glass he was jealous of or just thought was awesome. My favorites I have are.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Cheers
