Yup, I’m starting a thread for these guys because I’m predicting a big rebound year from these guys. The new place will apparently be at 1150 Manhattan Ave in Greenpoint and fresh cans of their excellent DIPA Vert Mont have hit the streets.

*fingers crossed* Instant Credibility and Turbulence, pretty please?

I always thought these guys were terrific and deserved at least as much love as, like, Interboro, so I'm glad that they're back in action.

Looks like they cleaned the equipment today, though the post doesn't say that they actually BREWED their first brew.

I'm super excited for them to come back though because it's a few blocks up from where I live :grinning:

I will walk by and provide regular updates more frequently!

Bought a single can of Vert Mont when I picked up some IA Winter Landscape at Clinton Gourmet Tuesday. Only $4.99 a can, best price I saw on BeerMenus. Looking forward to drinking it.

I saw Vert Mort and a couple others at Brouwerij Lane last night. Doubt pricing was that good. But good to see them back in action

I can’t wait for them to re-open. They do a variety of styles well and have been missed. They did a dry hopped Kolsch before they closed that was fantastic.

I had no idea they closed. I sometimes did an OH Threes Interboro Greenpoint run for cans when I first started driving into Brooklyn. Thought they had a nice spot and some of their canned beers were as good as the other places.

Look forward to seeing their return... used to buy their beers on the regular at Bread & Honey, who usually got them same day as brewery release (often earlier the same day). They could definitely hang with many of NYC's best. Still recall being really impressed with Instant Credibility.

Glad to report that this tastes delicious. Easy drinker. Citric and a little danky. Got it from WF Chelsea.

Just walked by and peeked in!

Its looking great inside! There's still a little dust and clutter, but it can't be far removed from opening.

I miss the days of stopping by WF Chelea back before they moved all the beer to the front of the store. It seems I was always able to find something I was looking for in the back cooler there but now it's been replaced by yogurt and eggs. Not to mention the occasional Grimm cans behind the cheese counter. Also miss the Growler station at WF Union Sq. but now I am just being nostalgic. If they are getting Greenpoint cans again though I will definitely give them another chance.

I rarely am in the city anymore and I used to literally go in there at least three times a week. Nostalgia was all I felt yesterday.

Ha, the back and forth on the forums over whether or not they had cans was great....

Now you have Beer Run down the street, a much better shop with great tap options as well!

Lol. I didn’t offend anyone. In fact, I posted a comment and they liked it just the other day.

I can’t say for sure but that’s exactly what it looks like when I search for Other Half’s IG account - and has been that way for 3 or so years now. Their IG team really knows how to hold a grudge.

I have to assume maybe they blocked me by accident. The few things I’ve commented on their posts have been nothing but praise.

On the scene here in GP. Garage door is up. That sweet brewing smell is escaping onto the corner of Manhattan and Ash. The taproom looks the cleanest I've seen yet with a number of Mr. T garbage cans full and ready to be picked up. There's a pallet of kegs waiting to be filled.

Looks like we'll be there soon!
