Well we can all agree that Brooklyn has better breweries (are there even breweries in Manhattan)?

But it is nice having Other Half sent all the way to the "City" every once in a while.

Doesn’t Torch and Crown like to tout itself as the “only craft brewery in manhattan”?

They have a 30bbl system in the Bronx, I don't think they brew anything in Manhattan atm but I could be wrong. Honestly seems like they are practically lighting money on fire by putting in a 10bbl system in SoHo. Big facility in the outer boroughs and a taproom in Manhattan seems like a reasonable model though.

Surprisingly, still no DMs. I appreciate the effort though. I guess I’ll just have to keep my fingers crossed.

Other Half has a coolship now in ROC? Shouldn't they learn to crawl before they run?

A buddy who spent Xmas in LA, gave me a can of Ain't No Mail Box (12/30/19), made with Citra Incognito & Mosaic, the after taste is exactly like HDHC More Citra. The Incognito isn't very incognito.

They've had the coolship, which looked promising with Eric Salazar at hand. Unfortunately, that relationship didn't last

Stopped by and picked up few 4 packs.

Small Galaxy everything : Great for what it's supposed to be

Quiet Cosmos : good but it's lacking body and somewhat taste.

All Cashmere Everything : Sweet and watery. No bite at all. Disappointment

Snow Shovel Stuntz : Pretty much the same as All Cashmere

Overall, I regret picking up Snow Shovel and Cashmere. They're both weak when it comes to body and taste.

Ruh-oh, I absolutely loved Cashmere + Galaxy a few years back.

I had dreams of that when I saw the new ACE post.

Obv I'm the biggest homer, so take all this with a grain of salt, but I had a different assessment of both your regrets.

There's a big columbus note on snow shovel stuntz. This is one I'm going to put down for a week or two and let meld.

All Cashmere has a lot of the characteristics of old Other Half beers. There's a pungent grassiness and the body feels watery at times the same way old OH beers did before they settled down and came together.

I had the "old" or og OH beers I don't recall it being thaat watery but You do have a point with columbus. One thing I noticed with Shovel is this deep nutty smell to it, which im loving actually. Sorta reminds me of marzipan candy.

I didn't really get grassiness from the all cashmere tbh. I like cashmere hops too.

Maybe I'm just being cranky today and I have to revisit everything over the weekend.

Ha, no worries, but I'd say punt them a week and a half to two weeks. As I'm sure you remember... back in the day they were fun to try ASAP for all the abrasive, super fresh hoppiness but then hit a weird watery taste for a few days as things came together. 2 weeks later they're fantastic!

I miss the diesel-y characteristic we used to get in ACE, speaking of old OH.

Haha, let me take you back to this Facebook review from Nov. 1 2016:

Sell bottles of gushing beer and half ends up pouring all over your counter top and don't respond when people private message them about the issue. Their IPA has a weird jet fuel quality to it that people line up for hours for which blows my mind. Most overhyped brewery in the ny metro area. I'll never buy a single thing from this brewery ever again.
