Please keep all conversations limited to price, demand (ie lack thereof), funky tasting note descriptors, and which locations Jean will open/close this year.

    Can availability here: https://www.tiredhands.com/cans

Serious question: do people still line up for these releases? I haven't heard and buzz on them in possibly a year.

I don’t think there are lines anymore, not that is a bad thing. The quality hasn’t gone down hill or anything, but they are just canning more and more.

Essentially no. I think the anniversary and void day maybe have lines, but even then you can get all the cans after the line. It's more a matter of people trading in line etc I think. But yeah, I haven't seen any cans not make it to the weekend, milkshakes included. The only cans that sometimes go quick are the little log cabin cans they make. I assume they're smaller batches, plus they're released 1 Saturday a month. But even those are without lines. Again, it's probably just smaller batches and a touch of novelty.

Tldr; for Tuesday releases, go Friday... Possibly even Saturday, and you can get whatever, including double vanilla. Go by early Sunday afternoon for the little log cabin releases to be safe.

Oh and watch the website, sometimes cans are available one place and not another especially with the Comcast building site now.

Do you understand the 'branding' of Little Log Cabin? Why are these beers listed as being Little Log Cabin Brewing vs. Tired Hands Brewing? Is the a business/financial reporting thing?

    Cheers!

Hype, novelty, etc. Maybe there's a deeper business value to it but I don't think that's likely. Originally at least it looked like the goal was to make straightforward NEIPAs without lactose/vanilla/fruit. That hasn't held. But the cans usually go quick and I think honestly it's a psychological thing for people to see something distinct but only intermittently released. I think trillium does something similar but I'm too lazy to check. The LLC ™️ started not long after lines died. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Wow! If your concept is correct here it is quite a telling aspect that beer consumers are so easily manipulated here.

    I suppose P.T. Barnum rules once more?:flushed:

    Cheers!

I'm not dismissing the novelty factor of LLC as nobody is entirely immune from that, and I've only had a few, but personally I'd rank newer LLC offerings up there with the best stuff being released under the Tired Hands name. I have no clue whether that's a trend or just a coincidence based on which I've tried and which I haven't.

Yeah, there's been some good releases,I wouldn't question that. But I don't know they're superior to the tired hands classics (knuckle, pathway, etc). They do a lot of triples it seems, which definitely can have more flavor too at the cost of booziness and hangovers... Honestly a good test would be blindly having something like a knuckle and LLC (but not the last release, which appears to be juice with hops added.. Rather something earlier on without lactose or vanilla or oatmeal cookies or fruit etc). In any case they often are, with exception of this last release, generally solid and often free of lactose/vanilla/fruits, which is nice when they release so many milkshakes/honey added IPAs etc, so they can label it how they want far as I'm concerned. But it may be a lesson they should consider more focus on more straightforward doubles and triples perhaps if they can make them well and sell them.

I seriously doubt anyone thinks that a beer being brewed and sold by Tired Hands is not a Tired Hands beer. I really don't understand why they can't just play around with labeling without you calling beer consumers suckers.

There were people on this very forum asking who was the brewer, including Troon rumors. So at least SOME people did think it was at least a possiblity. Not sure though how much that type of rumor mill actually affected sales.

Does no one talk to the people at the brewery about this?

Anyone else see the Facebook story? Cans or ourison at some point in the nearer future. Who knows when, they hinted at this when the moved their OG can line but it looks like canned ourison is coming together.

I would be a huge fan of this, especially at a decent (relatively speaking) price point.

I’m just excited to be able to drink a pint at a time. I’ve never been a fan of 750 ml or 22 oz. just too much beer for most occasions unless sharing. But yea @LocalBeerGuy it'll be great or cracking one after mowing the lawn in the summer.

    llc stout... hype

Kind of disappointing. Would have been nice to use the LLC label to just do something like other half's single/dual hop series rather than mango smoothies and pastry stouts. I don't mind the price (by the oz, in context with what other breweries are charging, it's fine... Though you better really like it to have 64 oz worth....). That said tired hands does saisons, pilsner, lagers, etc so whatever I guess. If it pays the bills....I won't be buying this, though for disclosure I did buy one Henok can which I have on my fridge "to be drank next" list given the adjuncts and risk of fading, but I'd likely never buy a $32 four pack unless I had multiple people drinking with me, as pastry stouts are best for me generally as 4/5oz brewery pours, just enough not to be overwhelmed by them.
