Yesterday on this thread I said it was difficult to justify $10.99 for this one.

Another train beer and I didn't get a seat with a table so pardon the picture.

Lervig Medicine, 10.5% triple IPA.
I usually like my IPA's really cold but this one actually gets better as it warms up. I don't drink a lot of high ABV IPA's so maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about. But it becomes more creamy and fruity as it opens up. I'm liking it way more now than when first opening it. Great beer!

Finally got my hands on this one and it's pretty damn good.

 

Jacobsen Brown Ale at 6% ABV. Carlsberg gone "craft" but it's actually I pretty decent brown ale. Sweeter than expected but I like my beers sweet so I'm not complaining. Cheers!

Some Barreled Treasure before heading outdoors to take down the Christmas lights in the yard. It's going to look as dark as this beer tonight! The coffee profile is still solid which means I'll probably buy another 4 pack next time I'm out grocery shopping.

 

Pilsner at the local brew pub as good as it ever was.

 

Back from dinner and chilling with a pale ale from Cloudwater, Manchester, UK - “The Windows Were Golden”, single hopped with Riwaka from New Zealand:



Cloudy, deep gold; thick white head; good cap retention; solid ring and thin soapy lacing. Strong skunky onion hop nose. Grapefruit rind, passion fruit, overripe mango; lite malt base; onion and sweet lychee finish. Medium lite body verging on watery; medium carbonation; no astringency. Flavors like nose are off-putting; strong skunky fruit/hop flavor is overpowering and difficult to enjoy.

Early Bird from Fuglsang, 5.5% ABV pale ale. Nothing special really but it was dirt cheap at the local super market. Wouldn't mind drinking it again though.

Don't normally post music but with all the extra time I spend commuting at the moment I listen to a lot more music than usually. And this has been on repeat all day! It's in Danish but for me it's one of the best tracks coming out last year so maybe (hopefully) someone will enjoy it
