    Warmest day yet, 52 degrees and rainy...ran some errands, now I’m in for the day...starting with a local American style IPA - “Katzwijm” by Brouwerij Homeland, Amsterdam:

    Pale amber pour, good clarity; rocky off-white head; ok cap retention; solid ring; minimal spotty lacing. Lemongrass, grapefruit nose. Taste is malt forward with earthy hops, bitter lemon peel and semi sweet malt base. Medium lite body, moderate minus carbonation; no astringency. Overall an ok American style IPA; tends toward malty with a dull lemon zest linger; one and done.

    The perfect marriage for me of sour dark cherries and sweet Belgian strong...and a supermarket beer here for only 1,49 euros makes it even sweeter - and in my new glass from our visit to the local micro brewery, Troost - Cheers y’all!

    What's going on advocates. I finally kicked the flu and ready to resume normal activities. The light shined bright when I opened my beer bridge. Starting off with some crazy good hop juice from long islands finest Root + Branch cheers
