good way to start this thread...Finback/Bottle Logic Stout Collaboration release this Saturday..per Facebook:

Just under a year ago, Wes and Brandon from Bottle Logic Brewing came by Queens and together, we brewed a big imperial stout. Over the next 10 months, this dark behemoth sat aging in Willet bourbon barrels, transforming in wood and char, vanilla and spirits to become a thick and silky foundation for three delicious variants. Bottle Logic is one of the most respected stout makers in all of craft beer and with our shared passions for barrel aging, we knew this one would be special. ❤️

Been a while since I've posted on the board but it blows my mind that this brewery can even expand with they way they handle their releases.

Todays line was even shorter than the BQE line and somehow just as slow. How to they still only have one person checking people out?? I appreciate them coming out to gauge order size but they could have taken payments while doing so. How hard is it to pre package full allotments for people?

I was the only person at the bar and it took 5 minutes to get the 1 bartenders attention for a beer. Seems like theyd rather socialize than sell beer.

No wonder they still have 10 old cans for sale. Blows my mind that they only distribute the flagship IPA and a few others locally yet they send everything else to Massachusetts.

They seriously have to get their shit together if Brooklyn is going to survive. Also how are they the only NYC brewery that has somehow managed to lower production? Is that not the case or are they holding back beer to send out of state...

This is stupid fuckin good. If this had OH or Grimm written on the label everyone would be raving about it. Stunningly good. This actually reminds me of a Root+Branch DIPA, high praise.

That one is great, but I think the recent Pass Through is even better.

This brewery does not get the love it deserves. Every IPA I've had from them this year has been better than any other brewery i have tried. This drop a line in having is straight fire for only 7%abv. Can't wait for the Brooklyn spot

Based on the photos I've seen the space looks pretty much done, but IIRC they were having problems with their gas line. So I'd say 6 months at least

You New Yorker's are so lucky to have this Brewery near by. I honestly think this is the most underrated brewery on the planet. I was turned onto them very recently with their Passthrough release that just so happened to be in a mix pack I picked up here in Ellsworth Maine. It was actually the beer I was least excited about in the mix pack and low and behold it turned out to be my favorite beer of all time. The next day I checked all my local spots and brought home 3 more four packs and was in heaven. Then Social Fabric showed up and again it did not disappoint. Just an amazing brew and is my 2nd favorite of all time. Micro Plastics was another great one and now I'm fresh out of Finback and going through serious Finback IPA withdrawals. Please Please Please get some more of those IPA's up here in Downeast Maine!

Unfortunately for us NYCers who rely on public transit, the commute is borderline prohibitive. But yea their stuff is good enough I’m okay coughing up the crazy retail markup here to try whatever new is around. Can’t wait for their BK spot to open.

I did the trek out there this past summer, walked through the sleepy Sunday desserts of queens... I really dug their Citra hopped later land lines... So good. I'll be happy if I can get that and spilt a 4 pack and a pie with friend in prospect park this summer.

    Social Fabric was really good!

Yeah, it's insane how many other spots I'd have to go by to get to Finback.
