Both new ones are definitely good though I’d concur that letting beers # 2-4 in the 4 pack sit in the fridge for a bit would be smart.

my interest in P3 had waned enough to skip the past few releases, but i've been liking motueka hopped beers lately.

leaning toward picking this up, but i can't shake the feeling that it'll just be another solid, unmemorable beer

Better than a memorable, unsolid beer!

Problem is, you can't pick these up  They sell out immediately.

They do? Most P3 cans sit in some of the stores I frequent. There’s an initial rush for them but then they sit. I’ve seen places with 6 or so different cans available.

Yeah, I can wander into one of three Binny's that I frequent, and there are almost always some P3 cans still sitting.

Damn Schaumburg. They go on the counter and are gone within hours.

Yeah that's what I see with the exceptions being Pressed and the milkshakes (except Bramble).

I knew there was probably some exception I wasn’t thinking of!

Hustle on this one. Low yields apparently, so this drop won’t linger

yeah the Wednesday drop was normal but it looks like something happened when canning. Hopefully it’s fixed for Chantilly haha

Pixel Density could probably sit for a bit but is still enjoyable now. Probably my favorite P3 hoppy beer they've released. It has a ton of hop saturated flavor without the sweet muddy mess.

I chatted with the manager of a local bottle shop on Saturday; since this was an off-the-cuff conversation I won't name the shop in case the info is wrong.

He stated that Pixel Density will be a "year round" offering from Phase Three. We chuckled that it probably won't literally be "year round" since, at least at first, it will sell out every week.

However, I hope this rumor is true, as I think it's easily one of their best IPA's yet.

Interesting. It’s not the identical hop bill but I guess this could essentially be Phase Three’s Dusty

Looks like LZ will be P3's home for a while -- they're taking over LZB's lease and space! (Per an email to ambassadors.)

Also Chantilly is available for pre-order (2 4 packs). So it’ll be nice to not have to chase these around as long as you’re willing to drive to LZ

Good for them getting the taproom. I definitely hoped it would be closer to the city than LZ, but oh well.

I’ll still have no issue getting out there for my Curvature bottles, but I doubt I’ll be making it out there for IPA releases.

    Random thoughts/questions

-How long is the remaining lease?
-Will the taproom become dramatically larger?
-Will the parking lots there be able to handle large crowds?
-Will Phase Three be able to host 500 Ambassadors there for brewery run events or will they have offsite?
-Given how Shaun for about More’s aggressive expansion, I’d think think 2 opened locations won’t be in the plans
-No social media posts from LZB about their status/future
-They said they’ll be brewing more beer. Will the distro see any pullback once their taproom opens in March?

Just some initial reactions to the news
