    New year, new thread.

    Mike posted a nice message yesterday addressing the highs and lows of 2019:

    I stopped by a couple days ago. It was a mixed bag, which seems pretty typical. Mikerphone Solo was really good. Exactly what I was expecting. Fiona Apfel was a nice surprise. Wasn't as big of a mess as I was thinking. Bean Spirit Hot Chocolate was solid. Didn't get a ton of the hot cocoa though. Framboise Got Run Over By a Reindeer was ok. A little too heavy on the pink peppercorn for my liking. Thrillerzzz was outright awful. I hope the bottles don't taste like that.

    Looks like they are closed today. Presumably to run around town and buy up all the 50% off Christmas candy for some future brews. I keed, I keed...sorta.

    Happy new year to everyone and looking forward to another year of insane ramblings!

    I talked with him a bit about this last night at Orange&Brew -- his batches are small enough that it's usually just a matter of saying "We won't do/brew it again." He laughed when I warned him against ever doing anything related to Metallica since they're crazy litigious.

    BA One Man Wrecking Machine coming very soon. This one should be pretty good.

    Mikerphone also announced they are brewing their Horus collab A New Workout Plan again, and they are putting some of it into barrels. I am really looking forward to this, I thought it was one of the best beers they have ever done.

    Since 450 serves low alcohol beers will they be sble to serve more OZ’s per Elk Grove’s policy limit?
