Is that the one that used to be next to Holy Mountain? I loved that pizza but haven't been to Holy Mountain in a while. Swung by somewhat recently for some beer + pizza and was very disappointed to learn they moved.

Facebook works in really stupid ways. Can't find the original link now but there are over 40 different breweries involved this time. My wife pointed out to me oddly enough, and she's a whisky drinker...? lol

Maybe look under Washington Beer Commission on FB.

    Here's Kendall's post: http://www.washingtonbeerblog.com/w...fest-happening-at-seattle-center-on-jan-25th/

(BTW, those two fools in the pic at the top of the post? A couple of the Hobos, Beav and Justin)

    Another Justin right here lol

But yeah I checked that site and the Wash Beer Blog and neither has the full list... pissing me off now. Let me know if you decide to go, it'd be cool to hook up. wife gets free parking in a private underground lot on Mercer about 4 blocks from there.

Given your intro, I was convinced you were posting a link to the inaugural McMenamins IPA Fest, with IPAs from 22 different McMenamins breweries. Looks like I was wrong.

The beer list is on the Washington Beer website.

BelgianFest is my favorite festival. I'll be there, not sure which session.

If I still went to festivals and had to pick just one, that would be it. My favorite.

OOOOH. How has this not happened. I want to go to it just because of how terrible it'd be....

It hasn't happened because it's still 3 weekends away.

I won't post details, since the event isn't in Seattle, but I can offer this quote: "...we are bringing in 22 different IPAs from 22 different McMenamins breweries to explore everything IPAs have to offer."

I don't think it's going to be terrible, but that's because I can personally confirm that they've made some tasty IPAs over the past few years.

I admit I'm as guilty as anyone of having a knee jerk negative attitude towards McMenamins beers in general, but I had their winter warmer, Kris Kringle, over the holiday and quite enjoyed it.

Actually Seattle related: Holy Mountain's 5th Anniversary is this weekend, I believe. I'm sure most folks were already aware of that, but figured it was worth mentioning in this thread.

I’ve only been to a few McMenamins, but it seemed to me, and correct me if I’m wrong, that their menus, beer and food were all pretty much the same.

Similar to most other chains, they have a roster of beers available at every McM’s that they have to keep in supply, but can brew their own recipes time/space permitting.

Keeping in mind of course, that quite a few McM pubs don't actually have an onsite brewery. For those places in the Portland area, I believe Kennedy School and Edgefield brew their beers (and so are dependent on them to provide them with any specialty, limited release beers that they might have on offer. Most places I've been to seemed to have one or two non-core beers available.).

How do you feel about adding in neighborhoods either next to the breweries or as a subhead? I saw that this post was referenced for someone asking about beer spots in Ballard, so having some neighborhood info would definitely aid in those situations. Awesome list though. Happy to see Good Society get added already.
