Mash tun build

    So I was thinking about building a mash tun and saw a couple of videos on it. My question is instead of taking apart a braided hose how would putting a mesh screen on the inside of one for the strain? Just looking for some advice!

    If I understand your question, there's no need to add any kind of strainer to the braided hose. It already is one.

    I think the dilemma is there is a liner in the braided hose. Also putting a screen in such a small area would become blocked quickly.

    Pulling the insides od a braided hose is easy and the resulting stainless braided hose has been fine for me. I would add nothing to it.

    Thanks everyone for the advice! I'm kind of new to the beer and ale part of this, I have been doing Mead for around 4 years and wanted to go to the next level!
