    Happy hump day advocates. Starting with some Evil Twin NYC Axel Boisen's Boys Berry Shake. Sour IPA Brewed with milk sugar, redcurrant, boysenberry. Firm citric tartness with rounded vanilla-esque sweetness and jammy berry notes. Would make for a delicious slushy cheers

    I bought a beer today that I haven’t bought in many years, at one time this beer won Gold at GABF in the IPA category. It was fully as good as Heady Topper and in the day I traded it can for can with said beer. Unfortunately when trying to up production they changed their methods and completely lost this beer. It was beyond off it was truly an awful beer deserving of a drain pour.

    So let’s pop it many year later and check it out. Canned on 1/9, first nose is faint Pineapple, certainly not a haze bomb, beautiful thick head, 7.2 Abv. Killer dank, lots of pine, tremendously bitter but still in balance. Citra/Amarillo/Centennial/Warrior/ Chinook, you can see where the dank and bitter comes from. This beer is damn good, I’d recommend it and it’s trade worthy imo, I’ll be buying this one again. HDR is back, if old fashioned WCIPAS are your thing this one will work perfectly, if you need a soft mouthfeel, hazy, low bitter this one isn’t that.

    Loved that beer when I first tried it in 2014. Good to see a non Hazy get some proper love.
