While I agree with most of the sentiment against the mule/line lyfe stuff here, I will say these days it ain't so bad. I can roll over to OH late enough none of those people are there and I can get everything I want. I used to complain about it much more in the days where everything was selling out by 1pm on Sat, or so it seemed. Now, I can still have my cake and eat(drink) it 90% of the time.

Just cracked my first can and it is quite delicious. I never had a chance to have the original batch so I have nothing to compare it to unfortunately. Also gonna have a can of NNN tonight, which is one of my favorite OH beers.

While at the taproom I had 4oz pours of Blue Chroma and Roc Showers. RS was really good but it’s still no HS.

Right, this is my take. The beer is all so good and we get so much of it all the time. I think it's kind of a new ethos for craft beer, but I'll take it.

Look at how many great cans are available today! I'm currently enjoying a Deer Gauntlet and love the beer almost as much as the label.

City Slickers India Pale Ale (6.8%) This collab with @azwilderness is brewed with Arizona prickly pear and lemon zest and hopped with Citra, Galaxy and Ekuanot. This beer has long been a favorite of ours for both the awesome flavor and the super fun label. $20 per 4 pack, 1 case per person.

Thanks to @phineasphrogbeer for helping us release the original version of this beer! #fanfam

There are many reasons why I love Other Half.. the high quality, the variety, the incredible festivals, the beautiful can designs and the way they value collaboration! Other Half consistently puts out amazing and innovative beers on their own, but when they collaborate with their friends, a special kind of magic happens. City Slickers, brewed with Arizona Wilderness, is a perfect example of this magic! I remember having this very tasty brew when it was released for the first time and being blown away by the unique adjuncts and delicious prickly pear flavor. I am extremely honored that I get to take part in announcing this awesome collabs triumphant return!

This is good. In fact, to me, not smoky enough. It’s pretty thick too. I don’t know how anyone can decipher a schwarzbier out of this, it has no lager characteristic to it. The marshmallow is definitely there too. I’m probably drinking it too cold also, but I definitely get a sense of what they were going for.

Oats is excellent, I just missed Deer Guanlet yesterday... oh well, sounded good with Galaxy and Riwaka, I guess it's extra City Slickers this Saturday.

    One more for Saturday!

HDHC Quadrangle Test (10%) w/ @trilliumbrewing Imperial India Pale Ale with Citra T-90, T-45, Cryo and Incognito for maximum Citra goodness. The original triangle test involved making 3 different all citra beers, one with all T-90 Citra pellets, one with all T-45 Citra pellets and one with all Cryo citra pellets. Then, we made a version with all 3 pellets styles. This beer is a new version of that last beer with the addition of a new hop product, Citra Incognito, hence the quad part. A true citra explosion. $24 per 4 pack, 1 case pp.

Brought to you by our favorite towel on instagram, @beercanvas

For a fact ☝️ this 2020 test series is slapping hard af right now

This year’s test series features 4 different citra hop variants in Imperial IPA form packing that extra juicy #PalletPunch

Yes, of course we remember lining up for triangular test in 2017 ⏳⏳ We copped every single glass @otherhalfnyc dropped and @lorenzothebeercat will agree that the OG pink can was the best

Big Big the ‍‍‍ from #OtherHalfBrewing and @trilliumbrewing for collabing on this 4-piece batch of , Big Big Other Half on 6 game-changing years in the NYC craft beer game and finally, Big Big Other Half for hosting and collabing with us on that exclusive @destinationbeershares NYC glassware last summer‼️ Nothing but love and appreciation for all OH has done and continues to do for the culture ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Considering triangle test, for me anyway, was pretty disappointing, it's funny it's getting released to such mule fanfare. Now All Infinity everything? That was a great surprise when it first came out, and the rebrew last yr held up, palate shifts and all. That would be my pick to rebrew yearly. No lactose, a double, and well balanced juicy and bitter. No gimmick other than it being a collab.

$30 + Cost GTFOH, this is why i hate people.

All the TT for me weren't as good as DDH ACE. This is intriguing because of HDHC, but really HDHC ACE is going to be better. #haterzgonnahate

curious what the OH taps will be. Kalashnikoffee is a good no pastry stout. Haven;t had this newest batch though. And the Anny DDH yacht juice is very good IMO too. We Want All The Gold was good last year, but their triples since have gotten too sweet for me, haven't had this batch.

I got called out for shaming the beer cat dude for wearing a hoody with his name and hashtag on it.. i personally thought it was a bad look for a grown ass man and stand by that...

Do anniversary cans usually last to sunday or into the week? A buddy may be in that area sunday and figured id get some detailsfor him .

The collab rebrews didn't make it through the whole day saturday I don't believe and neither did 5th Anniversary.

I’m a sucker for a collab with a brewery I’m interested in, which is why I’m going for the Great Notion one, but does anyone know what the process of an OH collab really entails? With the amount of collabs they’ve brewed, at the frequency they’ve brewed them, it's hard to imagine that every one is an actual collaborative effort.

I’m not saying it’s actually a quick conversation of what type of beer it will be and what the label will look like, but I don’t think I’d be shocked if that’s exactly what some of them were.

They usually happen whenever one of the brewers travels to anothers area and pops in to say hello and end up brewing a batch of beer.

I like collabs if they use signatures from each brewery (yeast strains, malt bills, tose treatment, HDHC treatment)

A N Other Brewery is in town for whatever reason

    They stop by other half

They drink and smoke weed. Lots of weed.

Other Half is in the middle of making something like ACE, Space etc

A N Other Brewery owner is high AF and picks up a handful of a random hop and throws it in. Maybe some other additive type ingredients that didn’t get punished by the aggressive onset of munchies.

    A collab is born.

The extra $2 per 4 pack easily covers the weed they smoked.

    win/win

Not all collabs are like this. A hill farmstead collab would involve group readings of major philosophers and blind taste tests of various well waters before getting into the meat of the brewing. But the above is the OH collab process
