IPA overload on the SP / SP Cellar / Shared social media pages today. looks to be 4 different kegs of Trillium hops available at the cellar this weekend plus a Shared / Monkish collab DIPA available to-go this Saturday at both locations.

Those Trill kegs are available the following weekend (day before the invitational). Been a bit since I’ve had some trillium hops so pretty pumped for them.

I’m 5 minutes from SP. Could pick up for you Friday. Like going to Walgreens.

I think CVS would be more appropriate

What if it’s just a metaphor for a short drive and I only go to Walgreens and not CVS? What then? I mean, who carpets a drugstore.

What if it’s just an allusion to CVS being next door to Side Project.

It probably goes without saying, but the Side Project Invitational is stacked and may be the best beer fest in terms of the quality if the breweries. By my count, the average brewery score is 4.1, and 68% of the announced 34 breweries have a 4.0 rating or better. I like to track beerfest data and can't find anything comparable. Here's the data: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...X3wuiN2KQ27Z8VsMqxFOuMU8M/edit#gid=1596744006

Looks like the link goes to extreme beerfest? Checked out the blog though - did you include SP and/or Shared in the average? Pretty sure SP be number 2 in the top 5 ranking

I have a feeling it is going to be silly.

Everybody is going to send the best keg they can send as they don’t want to be the turd in the punch bowl at this whale fest.

That's nuts. I need to find myself in a Side Project festival at some point. I'll follow this thread throughout the festival to see what people are thinking!

My bad on the link. I didn't include Side Project in the average, but that's a good point for future fests we cover.

Also it looks like I spoke to soon. WeldWerks just released the tap list for their invitational and almost every brewery has a 4.0+ rating (99.78% to be exact). Heres the data for that fest.: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...8FjisXD5Q7Dlmi7u54JhadaqGmcMj2XTBsOky/pubhtml

I’ve not been to WeldWerks Invitational but know some ppl who travel fairly religiously to some of the best beer fests annually who claim that it’s their favorite.
