    I think @wallyworld68, and @colby600 are sending distress signals, BAs! If you know them in RL, please check on them. The Fox Farm beer is rated a 94 with 33 ratings, while the legendary Julius is rated a perfect 100 with 4,765 ratings. See the difference? Glad we had this talk. :beers:

    Here's the difference, sir. You have 33 users on BA who can affirm that Fox Farm made an outstanding beer. I have 4,765 who can tell me that Julius is world-class. We can agree to disagree, but I'm no hero. I love you.

    Tree House drove me mad when they expanded to Charlton. You can go back and look at my posts from that time frame. I'm on record. That said, they finally got it dialed back in to the same amazing formula from the Monson days. And yes, like anything, I'm sure there's a lot of hype. That said, when you surpass 100 ratings, let alone 4K plus, is it hype or is it reality? Peace...

    I love a good mexican chocolate Stout and after many recent disappointments this is finally a great example of the style, which is heavily dominated by the chocolate and chili heat, backed up by roasted malts and bitter, earthy/herbal hops, with the cinnamon and vanilla contributing to the overall flavor profile but remaining firmly in background, just as it should be. This certainly wipes the floor with the Evil Twin collab variation hard.

    I respect that, @TheIPAHunter. I'm willing to amend my thoughts on the beer, mostly because I may be IPA'd out from the past couple of months. I love Julius, and it was my second "whale" IPA after Pliny. Double Burst is a very tasty beer.

    I have a strong jones for a Groslch as of this moment. Used to love pairing it up with some super skunk some years ago.. That's a beer that truly tastes like the chronic. Cheers!
