Back to work tomorrow, so trying to enjoy the remainder of the evening.

Just finished eating dinner; made some seared scallops with a shaved brussel sprouts and pancetta. Lemon chive creme fraiche sauce to top. On point advocates.

    Tropicalia now.

And fuck 2020 already. Kobe fucking Bryant. Really? As someone growing up in the 90’s-2000s who watched NBA every chance I could and posters of Michael and Kobe on my wall this one stings.

    RIP Mamba.

After some killer beers and a porterhouse I am having a dessert brew. Such easy drinking for the 12.4%
My only complaint is I would like a little more whiskey barrel.[IMG]

Raising this to Kobe and Cash. I had to add it to the database. I feel like that means a trip over to NBS.

It was this Young Lady's birthday recently!

Oskar Blue Death By Coconut Porter

Grilled up some porkchops & Boudin ( Zummo's, Port Arthur, TX ). My Youngest hadn't had Boudin before. I told him it is usually not something people usually dig the first time they try it, the texture for sure. This at least has the meat/filler ratio more to my liking

I almost bought that today. I think I will go back for it, pretty good in your opinion?

    Having Sweetwater's 420 Chocolope Stout.

It's more of a porter for me, but it's tasty. Smells like pot brownies and grapefruit bowl, tastes like fudgy brownie, grapefruit, roasted malt, and coffee.

Not a bad beer. Not sure if I'd go back for more though. I like Mango Kush better. 3.93 out of 5.

Yes sir, I've had it on tap and from the can, both track really close together, well worth the 6 for $11.99 price point.

This one is a bit outside my usual beer selection. Daughter brought it home and I'm tired of seeing it on the shelf. Six Bridges Brewing in Johns Creek, GA. Nice tartness, fruitiness and crispness to get me thru tonight.

    Canned early fall, 2019.
Released 10 days ago after lagering in the can for a few months. Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch tan head over a medium amber to mahogany body with a bit of sticky lacing. Nose of caramel, nougat, and slight chocolate and even slighter dark fruit. Taste follows nose closely with a finish of cocoa. Very nice feel and overall, damn, what a fine take on this classic style.
Cheers to John K. for another superb offering!

    C&P from NBS.
