About the same way RC is set up, and their bar area is huge too. But being unique is a bid advantage and their building was built from scratch they didn’t have to fit an idea into a place that was already built.

They do food trucks now, if you haven’t been the Beer Garten it’s incredibly well done, and they spent a fortune on it. They are incredibly well attended as well, I have to say I was surprised.

I have to add one from when I visited Arizona last year..

    Wren House Brewing in Phoenix.

Being spoiled living in the Northeast, I wasn't expecting much when I visited the brewery, but I was blown away with their quality, especially their NEIPAs. Right up there with the best NEIPAs I've had... I had the "Spellbinder" and "Barn Bird" . Not being from AZ, I'm not sure if this is still a "hidden gem", but I never heard of it before I went, and still have not seen or heard about it since then ( a year ago).

I've only had one beer from Resident Culture, but it was pretty good. They did a collab with Dancing Gnome back in August that was a triple "milkshake" ipa called lost : self. I put milkshake in quotes because apparently each brewery hates the idea of them, but wanted to create one without using any fruit puree, vanilla, or lactose. It was interesting to see what they could pull off just using the brewing basics. It was thick and rich with a huge mouthfeel. Overall it was a touch too sweet for me, but still a really strong offering.

I could sit in their quaint Seal Beach outpost all day if given the chance. Charming place and good draft list.

Hidden gem for me would be this place in Lisbon, Portugal: https://www.oitavacolina.pt/

It's off the beaten tourist path, you get away from the hustle and bustle to a residential neighborhood, and then you find a good selection of delicious beers. Plus, if you walk half a block away from the taproom you get one of the most incredible views of Lisbon all to yourself.

Agreed. Add Reve to that as far as Jax goes.

No lie. Quite possibly making the best ipas in California, at the very least they deserve a seat at that table

Funkwerks is fairly known and distributed. Jessup Farm Barrel House is my hidden gem in FoCo.

I'd like to mention my local spot, Benchtop - they do a number of styles well and any time someone visits, it is our first spot to take them. They did have a few mentions in some national online lists (fwiw?) but I do not think many people know about them.

    Wow....

I've never been, but I sold the beers a few years back. They had a very tasty IPA that was fairly low in alcohol. It had the best looking frothing and rocky cap that I ever recall.

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but Zebulon in Weaverville, NC is amazing. Nearly everything Mike puts out turns out to be stellar. If you don't know Mike Karnowski, he was the original brewer at Green Man and the creator of Snozzberry. This place is low key, off the beaten path, and puts out some of the finest beers in NC.

As a frequent trader I've been lucky to try a lot of big name breweries and compare with other stuff.

Root and Branch on long island makes NEIPA's up there with Other Half/Monkish/Treehouse.

Wren House in PHX is super well rounded and makes a bunch of styles super well

Calusa in Sarasota FL is probably a top 3 brewery in the state of Florida, and probably make the best IPAs in the state.

Point Ybel in Fort Myers FL punches way above their weight for their production size and footprint. Wide range here too. Great IPAs and sours, and he's been turning out a bunch of great lagers lately.

Odd Breed in Pompano FL is making world class wild ales with little to no hype.

They are one of the OG Breweries in NC - probably don't get as many mentions as they did 5-10 years ago but are definitely a very solid brewery.
