Haven't seen 10 Year Beer pop up around the city yet. Hopefully next week!

 

I have not see 10/Cuvee pop up, but I really hope retailers split these packs up and sell as singles so more people can try it and so that I don't have to drop $80 to try them.

 

I'm really hoping some place like Bitter Pops or Beermiscuous gets a fair amount of Ten Year in, and breaks up 4-packs. I'm done buying BA beer for the season, I think (I'm still drinking VSOJ from last year, ffs), but I really want at least a can.

 

The Beer Cellar was awesome yesterday. Thanks to all of you who came out and chatted me up. And I can confirm that the DDH Galaxy is tasting awesome. We're releasing it today for our Cosplay geekout at the Taproom, then it should head out on the trucks next week:

Blessing and a curse. I've skipped too many Rev releases this year because I couldn't justify a bunch more 4-packs, and also feared for my safety if my wife saw any more beer in the fridge.

 

Living the #BlessedLife up in Milwaukee lucky enough to score a whole 4 pack of 10 Year Beer. That shit is legit. My gripes about VSOJ are assuaged by that nice pop of cherry cutting down the sweetness but leaving those sleek barrels & smoothness untouched. Great stuff and honestly I have to say it's kind of in a weird way what I was expecting BCBS Mon Cheri to be but way way waaaaay better.

 

Milwaukee has the goods for sure!
Saw SJ 4pks for $23.99 and Discount Liquor sold single cans of X, Ryeway, SJ for less than brewery release prices. (also nice to get cans of Eagle Parks's latest, $4.50 cans of BA Narwhal, and lots of choices from Drekker and Untitled Art)

 

I finally saw some in the wild yesterday but it was a 4 pack so I passed. Just not into dropping $40 on 4 cans. I'm guessing some places will start breaking them up eventually.

 

Well, I ended my Drynuary this evening with a VSOJ. This was likely a mistake.

After calibrating my palate on water and coffee, what just happened. Wood, bourbon, malt, tannic, sweet, dry, and that nose for days that nose.

I’m just going to rock quietly in the corner for a while.

 

Every time I reach for a X Year Beer... This is my thought...

Finally found a single can of ten year and had it last night. Excellent beer, one of the best examples of a fruited BW I can recall. Extremely well done.
