I can’t imagine a world where coconut assassin is anywhere near as good as bbt b2. But, I hope you get this done, if that’s what you want.

The one on tap last year was blended with 2019 assassin. The one released on Sat is from 2018 (stated on the bottle) FWIW '18 has been reviewed much better than '19. I imagine that's also why TG went with the orange ninja (18) and not the red (19)

And there was a vast difference between Coconut Assassin '18 and Coconut Assassin '19. The '18 version had A LOT more coconut than '19. It was also a lot sweeter and a lot more aroma and after-taste as well which is what people want out of additive variants these days. Was entirely too much coconut sweetness for me (but I'm also not the biggest additive stout fan). Coconut Assassin '19 was far more muted when it came to coconut aroma and taste than '18, and it let the Assassin '19 base come through a lot more pronounced. You really had to let Coconut Assassin '19 warm in order to get the most out of it.
