I'm actually shocked how low ball other offers are on here. Clearly this is way over, but it's limit 2pp, never been done and might not be done again, and Russian River isn't exactly 15 min away from a major airport. Hope you get 3 OP.
I'm aware of that I was assuming he'd take his lady and if not, friend who would somehow negotiate a bottle to give away for some of that sweet A&T down the road.
I have to believe you on this but I think oddly enough Russian River makes a crazy amount of money and they can pull of this "haha we bottled it once in 2020 and maybe this year again?????" The hype and annoyance of standing in hour lines spending $13 for an 8 oz pour of this stuff, the brewers of RR might just be able to do a "one and done until when??". Year after year the PtY craze in CA never ceases to amaze me and it's been going on for the longest time with very little signs of giving up steam.
Pliny is sold at the brewery at 10oz pours but I don’t recall the price but it’s not $13. I know lots of places outside the brewery sell it for more but I guess that’s up the places that serve it. That cost is probably more because bars got to make money as well but people can always choose not to pay.
I do not know @brian4beer very well, but I have spoken with him before, and I am 100% certain that this is not a "troll post". Yes, the offer is insanely high, but he has the ability to do it, and if you haven't noticed, no one is really giving up their PtY bottles. How many other ISO PtY posts have closed? Not a whole lot. People are gouging the hell out of it in terms of value, and if A&T is something Brian is willing to part with to get it, then that's fine, and both traders are in for a very nice treat. Especially the Pliny guy, holy hell.
