    Started with a blizzard yesterday, and now an ice storm that has left every inch of every surface completely covered in ice. Anyone making thwir employees commute to work in this needs a serious reality check.

    Everyone in the Northeast, please be careful out there. If you must drive, drive slowly, drive safely. Those extra few minutes just aren't worth it. Get home safe, relax, and warm up with a great beer.

    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

    Crystal clear, golden body; nice frothy white head, lasting. Faint smell overall; spicy and peppery. Excellent taste for the style; tons of hop bitterness; spicy and peppery like the smell but cranked up in intensity; the finish brings out some nice biscuit-like malt notes. Medium-heavy body; crisp; lots of alcohol warmth (but balanced).

    This is an incredibly tasty double IPA, following along the lines of an old-school West Coast iteration. The taste of alcohol is well-hidden with the malt base and intense hop presence. Highly recommended if you want to experience the classic tongue-ripper hop presence of DIPAs of yore...

    The forecast was for 2"/hr & maybe some 40mph wind.
    Don't know if it's quite gotten to 40mph, but the snow has arrived.
    Had a sudden urge for The Baby, but.... a bit of freezing rain hit before the snow, so went with the closest approximation I have , rather than go get it today.
