I've had one stout from Transient and I thought it outshone their IPAs.

Thanks, I am! I'm sort of a newbie beer lover, so I'm learning a lot here.

I hear ya. Unless I plan to keep the beer a week or two or send to someone, I usually just fill a growler. Usually a couple dollars cheaper than a crowler. I guess the cost of crowler equipment and the can plus labor accounts for the difference.

Awesome, looking forward to your posts. Hopefully your husband gets the beer you seek, I for one would like to know what you think of it - it certainly sounds like an interesting beer!

I had kind of a bad day do to a failing HVAC system that is ~30 years old and I am going to have to replace the inside and outside units as well as the compressor and getting the ductwork redone. My friend knew I was in a bad mood so he invited a few other friends over who brought a couple beers so we having a mini tasting party

Do not feel too bad. You got your moneys worth. I bought my house in 1985 and am on my 4th heat pump after the original unit which was juist four years old when I bought the house.. Almost always they have to replace both the indoor unit and the outdoor. Or so they told me.

He was able to snag me a 2-pack. Looks like we're doing margaritas instead tonight, so I'll have to report back maybe tomorrow with an amateur review. Cheers!

Happy Friday, BA's. First one of the weekend for me.. Two Hearted falls off quicker and more dramatically than most IPA's IMO, luckily this one is drinking phenomenally. Cheers!

The HVAC people that came out were super nice and operate 24 hours a day for emergencies. My house was built in 1955 and the previous owners replaced the entire HVAC system other than the ductwork in mid-1980s. The guy told me that getting 30 years out of a full system is an amazing value and they don't build them like they do anymore and now a brand new system lasts of average 10-15 years. The one getting yanked out is a Carrier system from the 1980s and I'm trying to decide if I want to get another Carrier system or with their competitor Payne which from what I've read use all the same parts and are just sold under a different brand.

Cherry Street - OASIS (Old as shit imperial stout)

I originally though this was a BBA Stout but apparently they brew it with coffee beans soaked in whiskey and there is no barrel aging. It has been way to long since I got to relax with some friends nerding out about beer

Interstellar Burst. A DIPA brewed by Triple Crossing (TC). Two of four released today. Damn, if I was 40 years younger I would go to the TC "Can Jam" event tomorrow. 20 craft breweries from across the country will be serving their brews.
