Guys, does anyone know when the anniversary release is?

 

At corner garnet. Hopefully at window by 2. From what they say. Out of BA coffee and 4th. Little disappointed to miss fourth by 50 people. Oh well.

 

There's still a line???

Damn, today's Troon release may last more than an hour then.

 

Leaving Kane in about 30 mins and may stop by OH on my way home to grab 6th. Judging by the current line, do we think it’ll be all processed by 3? Not standing in line today after surfing in 36 degree water and driving for 4 hours.

 

This is the slowest line I've ever been on for anything ever. I can't even believe it.

 

Just had an experience at OH that really harshed my mellow.

I've never stood in line at the bar before. I've also never been approached by angry people at OH.

Everyone was standing far away from the bar, so I figured they were looking at the menu. I asked them if they minded if I could step past them, to approach the bar.
They came from behind me, and started aggressivly arguing that I had cut the line. I said that it was a bar, you don't have to wait in line. OH has some the best bartenders in the business, they'll take care of you. I invited them to stand in front of me, and order. The first woman in their "line" was already standing there, and of course got served first.

That's when the men approached me and started touching me. They was an older taller gentleman with bushy grey hair and a grey beard and a very overweight man wearing sunglasses indoors w/a curved-brim hat. I again asked them to stand in front of me and be served first. They became so argumentative the bartender became annoyed (which she should have) and I just left.

Was I in the wrong? There's I line for growlers, I get that. I've been coming to OH since "the old OH" and never stood in a line.

 

Probably is the best answer I can give. People are still lining behind me but it's slower build up than I imagine it was. Plus stuff is starting to run out. Should move people I guess.

absolutely not. As you said, it’s a bar. You don’t wait in line at bars. I always laugh at the line of ppl standing in line right when you walk in the door. I always go around them to the end of the bar. If there is an open spot at the bar, it’s fair game for everyone.

 

I’d say this has always been a weak point for them. You shouldn’t need to line up for beer at a bar, but people do and they’re not great about dealing with it

Don’t let these people get to you. Their bar can be confusing because there’s no real “service area” and so many people (understandably) stare at the 20 taps deciding but it’s totally fine to just step up when you’re ready and a bartender is available. Everyone today was just drunk any frustrated, again understandably.


It’s pretty fucked up that the guaranteed allotments for those that lined up were cut to the same allotments that showed up around opening. There was literally not reason to tell people they needed to be back in line at 6:30am instead of 9am...

 

I mean I totally get that this is frustrating for people that lined up for a chunk of time. But it’s also sort of the one thing they’ve done NOT to encourage lining up

 

Aiming to get there at 3pm, although sounds like there could still be a line then......

This is really coming down to the wire cos my boys will wake up from their nap around 3:30 - after that it’s going to cost me major marital capital to head on over.

 

Nothing like a good crises to reveal what really matters.

 

What's the line looking like now? I swung past around noon and it looked too insane at that point.

Was like 20 people and a 5 min wait. Line will prob be gone altogether soon

I must have been on either side of your purchase because there was no line when I was there. as far as I could tell they had everything except for the barrel-aged and 4th even though they said they had sold out of the rest on Instagram.
