Craft beer hater pulls gun on people outside Brooklyn's Other Half Brewing Company

Sounds like an out of towner was the one with the gun (since they were staying in an illegal airbnb). Unfortunately our tough gun laws can't stop someone from driving over state lines with their weapons.

 

Absolutely right, but he should see the max jail time for the offense, tough gun laws only count if you actually enforce them.

 

Geezus, I thought that was a xmas line during black Friday. Beer geeks, we are happy relaxed folk.

 

That would be a beer service dog. Sit and Stay Dog Rental Service. On our walk this morning I found a full undamaged can of White Claw Hard Seltzer Ruby Grapefruit. Dare I try it?

 

Until someone saves a spot for a buddy who’s cutting in line.

 

Or the Brewery messes up and people don't get the beer they lined up for.

 

First person to brew "Designer IPA" wins.

 

How badly would that suck.

Someone was staying at an Airbnb right by Other Half on the weekend of their anniversary beer release... and was savvy enough to throw a White Claw at the people on line? If this person wasn't also there for the beer release, and the story isn't a work of fiction, then there are decent odds that it was a beer blogger who uses "humor," parody and confrontation to create fodder for his sensational blog. Either that or some serious cosmic misalignment.

 

Lol this Gun story is so mindblowing

A) who thinks it’s a good idea to get an airbnb on garnet st.

B) who thinks it’s a good idea to antagonize idiots who are lining up nearly 24 hours for beer

C) who the fuck shames line lyfers while drinking white claw

D) who the fuck drinks white claw

E) who throws white claws at girls

F) who brags about having a gun inside their airbnb in one of the toughest anti gun states in the union

G) who then brandishes that gun to idiot line lifers as some sort of tough guy medal

H) who the fuck goes back into their airbnb after committing a felony and acts like nothing happens

Fuck guns. I hope this dude gets locked up for a couple years. Loser.

 

Just wait until OH starts making their own hard seltzer All Green Claw Daydream, then it'll be accepted by the line crowd.

In all seriousness, the majority of people who line up at events like this aren’t native NYers but are from out of state or recent transplants from other locations. 75% or more of the ppl on line at OH are from NJ or CT. I’m a native NYer and I absolutely despise lining up for anything.

 

Man, I’d love to know how someone from New Mexico is such an expert on New Yorkers. Just sayin’...........
