Good to hear from you Dave! I appreciate your pop-ins. Keep it up. Look forward to hearing about your shrooming when the season is right.

    And....Hello Late Night NBS
Actually popped a can of BA Milkshake Stout (milk stout) from Rochester Mills, in Auburn Hills, MI. Courtney of @superspak in our NBS BIF #10.
Fluffy khaki head rises from a deep dark brown base. Slight lacing.
Smell is straight up cocoa powder with hints of brown bread, sweet milk sugar, and ever so slight hints of dark prunes and figs.
Taste is more subdued, cocoa forward but not overly so. Slight lactose sweetness, and a most subtle bourbon note.
Mouthfeel is a little higher than I'd hope for a milk stout.
Overall, pretty good, with the nose being the star of the show.

NBS BIF #11 here we come...

Thanks, man! I miss so many things I won't be able to enjoy for a while, beer and pizza top of the list, but definitely feel well enough to get back out in the woods. A couple times a week I walk past a path that goes to one of my morel spots, so it's def. on my mind lol. Cheers!

As for the question posed at the beginning, I think the majority of my NBS beers have been one-and-done. Usually, I do my repeat drinking in bars and taprooms, though there are some regional 6-pks that are regular guests in my fridge. So, yeah...kinda...but sometimes not...

If this BIF doesn't have a name yet, I think we should look to Spinal Tap for inspiration.
