Didn't see a 2020 thread for SARA, but they just dropped 3 new cans. Available at the Capitola and Portal locations (text and photo taken from instagram)

    A Pre-Super Bowl, Pre-Pre @sfbeerweek can drop for you!
We’ve got 3 different beers for you as we kick off a great time of the year, including...

“Spots and Dots”, our 100% Nelson Sauvin IPA (7.0%).

“Clock and Compass”, our DIPA with Mosaic, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops (8.5%). This is the first time Clock and Compass has been canned!

Finally we have “Of This World”, our Triple IPA with Mosaic, Simcoe, Enigma, and Galaxy hops (10%). We make this only once a year for @sfbeerweek and now is that time!

All 3 are available starting NOW at @rusticales_sc
    SANTE!

Spots and Dots is my fav of the 3 (based on prev batches), but I really hope they can Posthaste in 2020. That's my favorite non-Saison from them.

Stopped by yesterday. it will be interesting to be able to compare “of this world” to pty possibly. Maybe I’ll put together a trade package. Hmmm...

    From SARA's instagram:

Let’s start @sfbeerweek with a bang, shall we? “Westly”, our Barrel-aged Saison with Apricots (double the amount of fruit and double the time in barrels as it’s younger sibling West Ashley) is available TODAY!
    Limit 1 per person/$30/available at both @rusticales and @rusticales_sc

We’re also debuting our @wellerbourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stout “Dreamless Sleep” (collab with our friends @sideprojectbrew) today as well.
DRAFT ONLY and it will go fast!

Both sound incredible. feeling tempted to make a trip down

The line was so long at the brewery at 1:20 that I didn’t have time to wait. Ive bought west Ashley and others without any lines but this was a shitshow. Sadly kids needed to be picked up from school.

Why, why, why won't they bottle any of their stouts?!

(seriously though, anyone know, because I've only seen stouts as in-house.)

IMO West Ashley > Westly, so I don't really care about the release. But I know. Y'all gotta experience it for yourselves.

I would normally agree, but this batch of Westly is killer. Low acidity, lots of fruit. Same fruit as the legendary West Ashley b16.

I also 100% agree. This batch of Westly is better than b16 West Ashley! Suprisingly

i spoke to Adair about this when i had warehouse H. she said maybe someday but not without purchasing a pasteurizer, since none of their beers are clean, so all
of them would eventually sour just by the nature that they do business. so having everything on draft means they can keep it up.
i thought this collab was fantastic, lots of chocolate and brownie. hopefully i’ll get to try Yours this thursday

Off the subject, but The Professor's Patent might be the best Nelson IPA ever. Just saying.

I know, right?!?! I came up here to try out Westly (which is absolutely outstanding, by the way) and was surprised that Professor's Patent was fresh and on tap! For me and my palate, this is absolutely the best all-nelson DIPA out right now...Hands down!

I've had Monkish, Cellarmaker, other great brewery's all-nelson iterations, and no one comes close for me! This is absolute fire!!!!

Anais is avaialble for growlers sometimes. Thats a huge win! I found an old growler tag from 2015 for Anais a few months back.

Pure speculation n my part: Dirty brewery bottling clean beer creates potential QC issues, maybe? Matters less with the cans because no one is saving those past 30 days.
