Lunchbox Hero is garbage. (In my opinion, which is admittedly worthless.) I thought that beer, if you can call it beer, was a complete mess. I still can't get that taste out of my throat it was so cloying.

who has opened stacking casks 2? I might open mine this weekend with some friends.

Also did BA SB sets sell out?

They took BA SB sets off their to go list on Sunday, so I assume at least sets are sold out. There's always the possibility there may be individual bottles left if they had more/less of some varieties, but who knows?

Haven't opened SC 2 yet. But will at some point this week.

Soft, smooth, and creamy, but fairly sharp with earthy characteristics and a moderated bitterness. The dry finish is gentle, as the roasted grains of sweet caramel malt, chocolatey triscuits, and bitter coffee bind. Meanwhile, the slick molasses, smoked birch, and charred nuts take hindsight

Another dessert stout this weekend, sounds delicious though. No time to go but hopefully it’s not a shit show for those going.

Yeah, man that does sound good. I haven’t had a good dessert/pastry stout in a while. I was planning to journey up North this weekend for some Kane and Carton but it’s like an solid hour and change to Kane, then another 30 mins to Carton then another 1.5 hours back. I don’t feel like blowing like half of the day on beer runs.

It’s only 40 mins to Tired Hands or Forest & Main for me so I think I’ll go that route. F&M just released an English Bitter in cans so I’m pretty stoked to check it out.

If anyone pops a bottle of that stout be sure to report back!

That’s always my dilemma too @tzieser its mostly the local shop these days but if I want brewery only stuff tired hands and or Tonewood are way closer for me.

And as I think we’ve said before it’s exactly the opposite for me. I’d love to be able to hit F & M much more often. Still want to stop and eat at Tired Hands.
And I’ve become too lazy to trade.

At Kane for the first time. Tap room is much more spacious than I anticipated. It is completely empty here. Just how I like it. Maybe 15 people just having flights.

    500ml bottles

$9 for Morning bell case limit
    $12 for variants - 4 bottle limit.

I am really excited for this, Morning Bell is the beer that turned me onto good craft/local beer, missed it last year but will definitely be getting a few bottles this week.

Time for another batch of beer-flavored coffee. I do appreciate that the price point is right around a Starbucks latte this year, and that you don't have to buy a set.

This is good news, no sets is really good. I also personally love the move to 500 ml. I hope it continues and we see all their stouts in 500s, seems like that is what is gonna happen. Maybe I'll make it up there this weekend, doubtful but hopeful.

I am the opposite of you @jonphisher. I prefer the Bells in 750 mL as these I usually tend to split to people or drink by myself and not mind the second pour. The no set there is a no brainer, Hopefully they have a few terminals open.

My gut tells me this release will be fairly smooth and not too crazy. Price point, bottle size, and non-ba hopefully this is an easy walk up with no ling.
