Asked @jdell15 a little while back if he could get ahold of a bottle of Great Raft's Come What Mayhaw for me and unbeknownst to me it arrived today! A couple tasty looking extras, too!

The wife sent me a text that said "You expecting something from JT cause you got box". Well only one JT I know @Jimmy_Kneecaps and he dropped an excellent box of beers on me that I have been trolling!! Let's start with some cans.

Southern Grist Imperial Balaton Raspberry - Imperial lactose Sour with tart Balaton Cherries and raspberry puree
Southern Grist Double Fruited Double Current - Fruited sour with double black and red currents. ( i LOVE beers with currents)
Southern Grist Peach Cobbler - Dessert sour with lactose, vanilla beans, cinnamon, and peach puree

Those cobbler sours from Southern Grist are INCREDIBLE. Astronaut Status is always great too. Awesome box

 

I got hit with a box from @zekeman17 last week, and I guess I only posted the pic in the Newbie thread?.. All new tics except for the Supa Sumo and the 2014 bourbon county, and I’m always happy to have them again!

Tonight I’m having the wrapped beer. I popped open the can and it smelled like vanilla. Then it came to me and I realized that it smells like the cereal Lucky Charms! I took a taste and it tasted like Lucky Charms too. What the hell? I let it warm up some, and it still tasted like Lucky Charms...

I unwrapped it, having no idea what it was...

Never even heard of this one, but it’s pretty damn tasty. Thanks @zekeman17 !!

Crowler from Boiler Brewing - Kicks A RIS aged in twice mashed Templeton Rye barrels brewed with 3 different cacao nibs, Madagascar Vanilla beans and habanero peppers!!!



Side Project Smooth - Wild Ale aged with Missouri Nectarines
Speciation/Homes collaboration - Fruit Draft Rum BA sour ale with blackberry, ginger, guava, lime and pear
Speciation Genetic Drift - BA Wild ale with peaches

Last but not least 2 blueberry bear claws (there is now only one)

So @Dragginballs76 hit me with a clown car of a flat rate. (Forwarded by the decisions of @jhavs ) They just kept coming out.



First off all these Barrel Culture beers made my heart stop. The one Pie Time I had at DLD thanks to Mike was a PERFECT beer. So excited to try the Cherry & BlackBerry. then Lil cherry boi & fluff jam!

& Westbrook- Gates of Smordor, Apple Pie Gose & Siberian black magic panther! What’s funny is Mike handed me a pour of gates of smordor at DLD & I wanted to try it so bad but just couldn’t do it with how I was feeling at the time. So I’m excited I get to try it now.

Then
10w-40 (sounds like a great morning beer!)
& a freaking barrel aged doppelbock by brewery bhavana. What!
Chocolate strawberry turnover by Edmunds oast (sounds great)

this box is crazy & I can’t wait to dive in.

Thanks @Dragginballs76 ! It damn near stripped the enamel right off my teeth, but totally worth it. Such a great beer. As great as this beer is on its own, it somehow got better once I poured it into a Newbie glass. Thank you again man, this was fun and I genuinely appreciate the great beer!

The generosity of this group just amazes me at times, for people to stand in line for hours just to get a special release and then send it off speaks volumes. Got hit with this megawant that I'll share with my neighbor over the weekend from @Snrubnivek today.

Obviously the PtY is an insane bottle that I would likely not get to try otherwise, even get a fresh Elder for a side by side. A couple new ticks from RR as well with the Mind Circus and Row 2 Hill 56. Two new MT beers and two new ones from Fieldwork. Many thanks for this one good sir!

 

Also got dealt a deth blow courtesy of @Franfab with this box of Revolution goodies.
First up a really cool Rev shirt that's actually in my size, that's a rarity in itself!
