Y'all are missing the big picture theme for this year: the barrels themselves were barrel aged

 

Are the metal bands aged in bourbon barrels before their performance?

... Or are they aged in the bourbon barrels that aged the bourbon barrels?

 

The former. Unless it's Mastodon, they're only partially barrel-aged.

 

Pretty sure just the drummer was barrel aged.

 

If only one band member is barrel aged, would that make the band a solera or blend?

 

But what if the other band members consumed a Crack the Skye before hand which contained barrel aged beans?

When fff announces the 4 pack of 16oz variant cans, this thread will hotter than a middle aged metal band on their farewell tour.

 

Dear god I hope that doesn’t happen. That would suck.

 

I actually wouldn’t mind that 4-pack of 16oz (or better yet, 6 pack of 12oz) of cans for Dark Lord variants, as long as all the variants are different. Would be great to get a variety to try.

Sounds like they are a little behind the 8 ball this year, and they're going to be transitioning to white stout last minute.

 

This may have already been mentioned in previous pages, saw in Binnys today a Behemoth with black non-glitter wax, bottle was dated this year, possibly the same for dark lord?

 

Yep, back on Page 4 in mid-January...

 

One month until tickets go on sale ... and we have not even started talking about the lanyards yet.

 

I heard since there hasn't been enough hilarity the last few years, they are going back to the cardboard holders to hopefully get more pictures like the one in @DLDlulz used to have in his profile pic.

 

I thought they were only going to package the limited variant 2020 Vanilla 23YR Pappy Barrel DL in the flimsy containers?
