If I had anymore DDG I personally wouldn't do that seeing how DDG only comes around once ever 3 years and goes for $45. As much as I'd like to try Forager, i think most CA traders will look it up and want something at the 4.5 rating threshold to make a move.

 

Cantillion Brabantaie? What's this one doing of late and any one have an idea of value relative to other Cantillion or other lambics? Is this about the same level as the latest Zenne bottles?

Looking to understand the current trade value for Stagg Jr. B12. Is it 1:1 with Weller 12?

 

Curious if Civil Disobedience 11 might pull any bigger Side Project stouts. Haven't seen it posted in a while now.

 

I'd think the W12 may be able to pull 2 stagg jr, tho maybe just 1+

 

If this were batch 10 or 11 Stagg Jr, I’d totally agree with you. But Stagg Jr b12 seems to be a bit of an anomaly. It won bourbon of the year from Breaking Bourbon and I think people are holding onto it tighter than past batches. While it probably needs to add to get a Weller 12, I’d think the two are getting fairly close.

 

You probably wouldn't be able to separate me from my Stagg Jr b12 for a W12. After drinking both, I'd much rather have the Stagg Jr.

 

Blech! Both are terribly overhyped.

 

Recommendations for any non-overhyped bottles?

 

What makes you think that? Trying to get frame a frame of reference without talking secondary pricing.

I agree! I was able to come across a few and am trying to figure out value so I can bundle the Stagg JR B12 with other stuff to trade up to some BTAC. Thanks for the info!

 

The Stagg Jr. B12 is legit. I don’t see that being overhyped. Weller 12, for sure!

 

So, I was really lucky this fall, I found Stagg Jr B12 and George T Stagg 2019 for MSRP. After drinking both, I can say that both are delicious. If they switched labels, I wouldn't have known any difference to be honest. If trading, knowing what I know now, I would swap 3 Jrs for a GTS and be ok with it. IF I'm drinking them. If you are trying to do value trades etc etc, then obviously not, just because you can trade the GTS so much higher. But, if just straight drinking them, a 3:1 is in my mind at least, fair.
