I'm sure they could find some in hull, Hingham, or Weymouth.

 

The year-round offerings have a kind distribution footprint throughout MA, so there should be no issue there (e.g. Zwickel)


However, there’s a new batch of the Standard coming out in March, which is part of the single series. Granted, a more restrictive supply, but would have your friend keep an eye out regardless

Ok, this Kölsch is ridiculous. I’m pretty sure I could drink only Notch for the rest of my life and totally cool with it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that there has been a fair number of people who've complained about limited availability south and west of the city.

 

Just cracked my first one and totally agree! I usually have to squint to find that "white wine" note in kolschs (and I still often worry I'm just succumbing to suggestion) but it seems really strong here.

I really want to try this side by side with Exhibit A. I love that one too but this feels considerably more flavorful to me right now.

 

Exercised some due diligence, and checked A Street Liquors in Hull. They only have Left of Dial, but are open to Notch shelf space upon request

 

Thanks for doing that. I'll pass along that info, and just tell him to be on the lookout for the other styles when he's out and about in the city.

He's not a real beer geek, fwiw, but these Notch brews sure seem like a great way to stay in his comfort zone but also step up in class at the same time.

I'm in Framingham, and it feels like we're lucky to get ONE notch beer over here. And it's never one I'm interested in.

 

Yup, I always go to CBC Newton for the Single Series stuff.

Yeah, that would be great, but not exactly holding my breath. Looking forward to the second location opening, but I’m sure that will be months and months away. Maybe then will be able to send more out for distribution. Or not.

 

Yeah, I figured as much. I just may use that information for special occasions, such as when he's meeting up with me .

 

Looks like the Czech Amber is being packaged today

 

Hell yeah, now all my favorite Fox Farm Czech Lager varieties will have Notch counterparts to hang with in my beer fridge
