I posted this in the New England forum, but feel it’s big enough news and is a popular enough beer that everyone would be interested. This has also been something people have been clamoring for for many many years.

Old Fezziwig is in 4 packs of 16 oz. cans at the new Sam Adams tap room in Faneuil Hall. There was some indication this could be a regular thing...we’ll find out.

    Cheers!

And its reminiscent of the old label - love it!

I'd be clamoring more for it if it was $17 a 4-pack at the brewery. I have a 4-pack at home, will crack one open this week.

I never cared much for this beer in bottles, but that cause it had that "bottle" taste. I'd love to try in a can though.

Were these cans available last November/December for Holiday drinking? Why are they 'out' now?

    Cheers!

The TTB COLA for the label lists only their tiny Boston brewery - unlikely it will see distribution.

From the Boston Beer Co. Annual Report:

I know you're only the messenger, but this is the first time I'm not appreciating your encyclopedic knowledge of the brewing industry. :disappointed

Not sure, maybe at the Jamaica Plain tap room?

The Faneuil Hall tap room just opened a couple of weeks ago. These were canned in November.

There seemed to be some indication this might see distribution next year. We'll see...

Whats the price point of these?

Id buy these in a hurry if they'd ever hit distribution.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me at all (esp. after what seems like decades of people asking for it...) that's why it DID surprise me to see that the label was only good for Boston. Not sure why, either. Seems to me that some multi-site brewers like Molson Coors will often list every one of their facilities on the COLA even when there's probably little chance a particular beer will be brewed there, like Jacob Leinenkugel brewery listed for Pabst's National Bohemian.

If that makes its way to Northern Indiana, I will purchase a pallet of it. IJS.

I'm trying to think of something comparable in Boston. Because I'm not sure if that's expensive or not for our area.

I wonder what a four pack of Winter Lager would go for?

    $17 for a 4 pack? Hard pass.

I can get a 4 pack of SN's BA Narwhal for $19.49 and most New Trail IPAs for $12. My point is that a 5.9% Olde Ale should be like $10 for a 4 pack.
