A tie-in with country singer Luke Bryan (who? *). It does answer the question, "So, Constellation sold Ballast Point but kept that new Virginia brewery they just built for BP. What are they going to do with that? (Besides brew some Funky Buddha, maybe?)"

Nice looking label (what, no cartoon monsters?)

    "Light beer"
abv & calorie count. American-Grown barley, too!

    * OK, can't say I'm familiar with the current crop of country artists (or the crop before that, probably - last time I paid attention to mainstream country was during the Steve Earle/Dwight Yoakum era of the mid-80s - and they weren't really mainstream anyway but they made the charts, I guess?).

But I once heard some songs in a bar on, I guess, a satellite country radio station or something and they were so laughably bad, I wished I had a pen to write down the lyrics. Lots of brand name mentions, IIRC.

Story also includes a list of the Top 100 Country Drinking Songs, for those who like to argue over lists! Some good ones, too.

I believe that Luke Bryan has performed numerous times down here in the Florida Panhandle during spring break (yes, not so much country music as pop) in front of gyrating bikini-clad girls. So, I am sure that beer will be available down here next month for the annual spring break - of course, this beer may be too fancy for spring break masses.:sunglasses:

I'm surprised it does't advertise the American grown corn (syrup) that probably comprises a good deal of the contents

No, corn doesn't make beer. Corn makes whiskey.

Looks like there's a line of seltzers, too. Fine print:
So, they're using two different 'dba' names, "Blue Crown" and "Home Brew Mart" (which appears to be a Constellation corporate name) even though apparently they're coming out of the same facility? Looks like Constellation is brewing some Funky Buddha beers there, as well as a line of Svedka (another Constellation brand) seltzers and Seaworthy nitro coffee malt beverages.

From the label, this beer seems close to Ballast Point Lager.
