    I'm at the Mother Earth Brewery in Kinston NC. I'm drinking a Norwegian Fire IPA, a citrusy, haze, crazed hop Bomb. Delicious!

    So, after the sampler, I wanted to delve into the rye IPA. The GF went with the toffee porter (which isn’t as sweet as you might expect):

    If you can’t tell where we are... Rockwell Brewery, with a perhaps apropos Rye Me a River.

    This beer is a looker - I can’t see the GF through the curtain of head lacing. Nose is subdued, but the rye speaks in the taste of this orherwise old school grapefruit flavor driven DIPA.

    Someone mentioned in the 3 Floyds how this reminded them of original Ruination, and I have to agree.
