5 day old Wrench. This batch's ABV of 7.1% is a bit higher than the usual 6.8%. An aggressive pour led to the large head. No defects detected with the higher ABV. This Northeast IPA still proves to be world class, no doubt about it.

And finishing this amazing book. Called "To The Edge of Sorrow." By Aharon Appelfeld, who spent his life post WWII in Israel and writing first hand about the atrocities that happened to Ukrainian Jews. He past away in 2018, but this was one of his last books and it is the first time translated to English. Basically an ultra serious Inglorious Bastard militia of people that escaped the ghettos and wreaked as much havoc as they could to Germans in the Ukraine forests. Though instead of focusing on the fighting, it is more the internal struggles and morel issues the fighters have to face on a daily basis. Appropriate title to say the least. Anyway, its a different look that I haven't read before, and already got more of his books to read. He will go down as one of the last people that can actually tell these stories from first hand experience.
