Agreed. 120 minute IPA, World Wide Stout, Barton Baton, Raison D’Extra, Fort, FruitFull Fort...so many better offerings in their exclamation danger zone beers. I do like 90 minute IPA for a less liver-destroying regular drink. Their non-imperials I find meh.

 

Had some Indian & Jamaican Goat dishes, all tasty. I believe prep is key to not have it gamey. I feel it like lamb, can be easily over cooked. Grilling some lamb tomorrow! Heard of Andy's. When I was there Elk & Bison were my big curiosity.

 

If I could I would. The Answer Brewpub brews a beer called Jooze. I am not a fan of sours or fruit beers but their stuff is awesome. If you ever get your sorry ass close to Richmond I recommend you visit this brewery.

 

I have bought next to none of their stuff since they launched in Arkansas. Their pricing put me off when I could find it in Colorado & out east. That & everything hoppy here seems to be 3 months old when it hit shelves here

Burning Water Burning Water 1991 Smashed Hits

 

Foreign Exchange Kittywampus Imperial Porter (vanilla, Endiro Coffee's single-origin Bududa Bukalasi Ugandan coffee, lactose). One of the better coffee beers I've had in a long time. The coffee character on this one comes through so authentic and is just fantastic. The vanilla and lactose balances out the dark roast and base imperial porter very well. Full of complexity and very smooth. High medium to low full body. Silky and pretty creamy. That coffee character and balance between coffee and vanilla/lactose is what gets me on this one. Outstanding. An up-and-coming brewery for sure.

 

Yeah, cheap they aren’t. I don’t mind any age on the heavy hitters. As long as the wife says the beer budget hasn’t been busted...I did find some Courage RIS for under a buck each. Only 9 oz bottles but 10% ABV... it’s a bargain!

Perhaps the closer. Probably should be. I love revisiting this every year.
