    Let the record show that I inquired.

    I will happily give an update once the box is received, and if all goes well, we can lay this to rest. Should anything come up, I will update the thread accordingly, though I have a feeling this will all work out now. Thank you.

    Isn’t ironic that what you didn’t want to happen, happened? Maybe next time just listen to what people have to say instead of dismissing people because it’s not what you want to hear. All of this would have been avoided and quite possibly you would still have a trade partner.

    As far as the BT goes, he brought this on himself as well. You shouldn’t have to apologize for something he did and you’re just enabling him.

    In the Bay Area there’s a radio host that always signs off with : Sports don’t build character, it reveals it. In the case here I believe people’s character were revealed.

    Trust me, I have a clear enough picture of this situation, and I promise you, it wouldn't have made for a better outcome. I promise.

    That isn't to say you aren't right though. It just wouldn't have actually made a difference. It would have saved time.

    As @John_M said, we usually close these BT threads when they are sorted. So when you get your box, we'll call it a day and move on.

    Got to say, I am a bit familiar with both you guys because you are active on the forums, and that was a bizarre thread. No need for redundancy as everything has been said by others.

    We like to end these on a "happy ending" instead of an outright ban and stolen beers, but this thread surely was peculiar for many reasons.

    No one needs to be banned, and I don't think stolen beer is going to be an issue at this point. I think this is just a case of very poor communication. I foresee no trouble moving forward, and I'm hoping everyone can part as friends. Sorry for pulling you into it. I was asked to close the thread, so I asked to close the thread, and that will hopefully be done in the next few days once the box arrives. Looking forward to moving past this.

    No problem and tagging me doesn’t bother me one bit. It was just a weird thread to read early in the morning here and sober. Glad this is going to be sorted though.

    I think this post is a total disservice to the entire BA community. Just because you have "good" history with this trade partner and you being OK with getting "jerked" around for 2 months, doesn't mean everyone else would be. These type of threads and posts allow people to make the conscious decision on whether to trade with people that dont seem to concerned with getting someone else's box out.

    It also helps that when feedback is left for traders if the communication/packaging/etc weren't great that it should be noted, so people can again decided if they want to deal with that kind of behavior.

    I have a sneaky suspicion we don’t see feedback from either if and when this does get completed so it just goes away outside of this thread. I doubt Sierra will leave, Okay to Bad feedback, which I think is appropriate, given the blowback he got from bstyles regarding this thread.

    Edit: KJ2 in with my same thoughts as I was typing.

    To be fair, we don't have any idea "what sort of shit" Sierra would have to deal with if he or she left a subpar rating for a trader who by their account behaved in a subpar manner. It's tough to even fathom the repercussions of such a move.

    He said that trade approval had already expired so technically no one can leave feedback unless they create a new one. We all know that's not going to happen. DNT x2 for me.

    Please elaborate on the poor communication referenced above. Based on your previous comments it sounded like @bstyle promised the box to go out multiple times, but failed to ever provide a tracking until Monday. If this was truely miscommunication, it would help by sharing details so people can learn from your mistakes.

    I resent a trade request the moment I saw it had expired. I have done everything I can to follow protocol and keep this trade open and official in the system. Why wouldn't appropriate feedback be left for me? I opened a trade, put together a box, sent it in a timely manner with tracking, communicated throughout the trade. By my calculations, I have earned perfectly great feedback.
    @MattOC see above - I've already sent a new trade request

    And based on the information provided, why would I be placed on a DNT list? Because I put together a generous box of beer with no specific demands but $4$? Because I followed protocol and put the trade through the system, and got a bombproof box out with tracking immediately? Because I was consciously aware of the cold weather, and made sure nothing was sent during a freezing period, and because I was extremely patient? Because I resent a trade request wheb it expired and continued to follow trade protocol throughout the entire ordeal? Where exactly was the misstep that would paint me as someone to avoid trading with? I fail to see it. It actually did happen, because I did send another request. Why wouldn't I?

    You absolutely should receive feedback for your portion of the trade. Excuse my doubt on that happening based on how your trade partner responded in this thread. Are you going to leave real, appropriate feedback outlining this situation if given the opportunity? Based on how frustrated you were last night when people asked for a simple explanation from bstyle it seems hard to believe that would happen. You were so damn focused on this hurting his trade reputation (which it should)...

    This whole tread has been an absolute trip. I hope you get your beers, OP.

    I think I should receive feedback as well, and I see no appropriate or excusable reason that such feedback would be anything but positive, as I ensured a perfectly good trade on my end. Perhaps I misunderstood you. I had initially thought you were insinuating that I shouldn't receive positive feedback. I very much intend to leave appropriate feedback if appropriate feedback if left for me.

    There's a lot more to that, that I wish I could go into.

    I agree 100%. Trust me.
