if it doesn't even tote the line of being close to the traditional style they just really just call it a "sour ale" or something

Of course, it also seems to me that a lot of these American “sours” should instead be called “sweets.”

Here we go! Kicking off our special Pastrytown releases with two Barrel Aged baddies. For sale this Thursday, 3/5 at 5pm from our corner warehouse. ⠀
    ⠀
For those of you who aren't able to join us at Pastrytown this year, our taproom will be open normal business hours all weekend-- Friday, Saturday and Sunday. ⠀
    ------------⠀
Barrel Aged Pastrytown - Coffee (16%) Imperial Stout Aged One Year in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels with Colombian Coffee, Cacao Nibs, Hazelnuts, Vanilla and Cinnamon. We used the sweeter, fuller character of our Heaven Hill barrels to play nicely with the coffee, cacao and cinnamon in this beer. The hazelnuts and vanilla just make it even better. $24 per bottle, 2 bottles per person.⠀
    ⠀
Barrel Aged Pastrytown - Peanut Butter (16%) Imperial Stout Aged One Year in Willett Barrels with Cacao Nibs, Peanut Butter, Pretzels, and Vanilla. We opted to use Willett barrels for this version because the slightly drier character balanced the rich peanut butter and vanilla character. Salty pretzels and cacao nibs complete the package. $24 per bottle, 2 bottles per person.⠀

It’s safe to assume, at this point, 250 pages is a realistic 2020 finish. Wow.

By the way, you guys can keep buying these crazy lactose beers/Berliners/stouts, keep going to these festivals, I'll keep popping in every month or so when the Diabeetus and lactose level is low and buy all the (D)IPAs they’ve been selling for years. It’s been working out just fine.

Poster child right here @PapasDelicateCondition - every beer @guinness77 grabs is A+. Every beer he passes on is haze/pastryboi garbage. That’s how we roll.

I'm surprised nobody is complaining about the price on the BA Pastrytown bottles.

Oh I am, it just hasn't been on here yet. But to me, charge whatever they want, I am not going to be buying it. If it hits the board at $4 for 4oz, I will trying it at a discount.
