if they kinda let kane steer this one, it could be really good. I mean we know Kane is pretty solid with getting coconut/vanilla out of beers; so it's really just the almonds that are kinda of an odd-adjunct out on this.

How slow is that line going to be with around 20 cans and 10 bottles to pick from...

It's also too bad that sheeple perceive a huge difference between 16 oz cans and 16.9oz bottles. The bottles make it a bitch to cary.

Paying $24 for a 16oz can is offensive

    $24 for a 16.9oz bottle, however...

Treated Bourbon County variants are more than $24 a bottle, just saying.

I don't mind paying $25/bottle for a top quality BA stout, so the price range makes sense. Now, for the stout inside these...

I won't complain; this is pastrytown week.

I would bet these are better than any of the BCBS variants this year, but that's not exactly a high bar since Mon Cheri for example is straight 'Tussin.

No argument there, though I would hope OH aims higher than Ab InBev/GI.

Am I missing something? The posts by NewmansOwn have quoted $16 per bottle prices for the Pastrytown stouts. Or is that just the VIP discount price?

Where do we think a 16oz carton would price at? I literally drink everything I buy within about 48 hours so I’m happy to pay a discount

Don't they get less sweet and taste less like candy? If yes then they do cellar.

But why BA them if they don't age well?

So glad I don't have the desire to spend more $1+ oz for beer.

All the added flavors fade. If you want to buy a cinnamon stout and eventually not have it taste like there's any cinnamon, then yes it does cellar.

When BA, I might be mistaken, but I think in most cases they brew the base stout, age it, then pastrify it. This is why bottles of BA double drupe weren't infected.
