Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned 1/20/2020 and DDH with Mosaic, Citra, and Galaxy. Pours a very hazy yellow orange yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.5

Smell is guava, tangerine, mango, pineapple, hint of vanilla, and apricot really well balanced nothing dominates. 4.5

Taste follows guava, tangerine, pineapple, mango, and apricot low on bitterness and loads of flavor. 4.5

Mouthfeel is big, sticky not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 8.4% hard to slow down it is so juicy. 5

Overall this stuff is the real deal from Lock City Brewing Chapter 4 LCBC’s Intellocktual Series.

Not a big fan but it's refreshing after a full pint of that very sweet beer I just finished and I do have four left from the six pack I bought and they're not getting fresher.

 

Not much to do but have some beers. Enjoying this juicy one.

Some local lovin' - 'Stopped at Saucony Creek on the way home tonight for some single cans to try. The Unicorns are back it - Here's another "groovy" IPA in their Unicorn series, 'ya gotta love that 60's theme and font ...





Man, I never appreciated Hendrix until I got older. Pretty mind blowing stuff that I ignored for way too many years. !!



BTW, this Unicorn juice is some tasty shah.

Palmetto Brewing Huger Street IPA.....

 

Following up with some Margotberry from Hop Farm. A raspberry version of their Margot sour blonde. Tasty stuff.

Sycamore Charlotte NC Sticky Crystal.
OK but its got Sabro not a hop Im in love with currently.

 

Little weekend road trip and stopped by Firestone-Walker on the way down to pick up non-distributed barrel aged brews.

First up (then downed)... Tequila Sunrise. A blended ale aged in tequila barrels. Not bad, but not my favorite of the four.



Next up (and of course, downed)... Coconut Parabola. Like drinking a liquid Mounds Bar. Excellent Parabola variant. I'm a little toasty after those two since my wife only drank 4-5 ounces.

Back home and doing the final two. Next up, one of my favorite beers... Parabajava:



Finishing off with the best of the Helldorado variants, Helluva Brulee. Blonde barleywine aged in rum barrels 2 years. 14 percenter
