Drafting Table Orange Brewlius. Incredible Milkshake IPA. Great rocky head retention/creamy soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, blood orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness; and citrus tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; very creamy, silky, bready, grainy wheat/lactose; light sticky hops and fruit tang/acids in mouthfeel. Slight lingering resins through the glass. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tart/tangy dryness; no cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 6%. Feels like a lot of Mosaic/Citra. Super juicy hops/fruit, with light dankness; perfectly balanced lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Home run. Glad these are in distro now! 4.28

Aromas and flavors of huge red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness. Medium carbonation/body and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 7.2%. Amazing Citra/Mosaic profile. Very juivy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a great balanced clean bready malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. Top tier stuff. Will always be in the fridge now. Will have to break into some Abrasive soon.

Starting light with a Maine beer this morning.

 

Taking advantage of my two days off. Also my birthday on Saturday and I have to work so I’m indulging now. Perfect day to sit on the porch and stare at the mountains. If I’d have know the sun would stay out I’d have when mountain biking today. Weather called for rain. Oh well I have a nice bottle of

Such a great beer!!! Coffee/ BA and the stout all balance out perfectly. I would love to have several bottles of this in my stash.

2013 SN BigFoot. Crazy!

 

Wondered on down to the Casual Pint and found a Dogfish head 75min IPA.

 

Drinking a new to me Polish lager. Brok Premium. 5.2% abv. The color is golden. The aroma is surprisingly brightly hoppy, I'm immediately reminded of a newer pilsner brand from one of the Swedish macros which uses Hallertauer Tradition hops in the whirlpool for a hop forward yet malty 6% "pilsner" beer. This beer has the same hop aroma, and flavor. The hops carry over to the flavor and is combined with some malt sweetness and a balancing bitterness. It's very nice and refreshing.
