So trade value is always less than secondary?

    Me too

No, the point of this is that what a beer sells for is not the same as trade value of that beer.

There is both a secondary value of what a beer sells for and what a beer trades for. However, these are two different values.

So on average how much less does a beer trade for than sell for? Obviously a lot of variables are at play.

I think you are missing the point. These values are different. There is no coefficient that determines what the difference in these numbers are.If anything beer sells for less than it would trade for. Most people would be less likely to shell out $400 cash for 1 beer, rather than trade 2 beers that have $400 secondary value that they paid $40 for.

That is the whole point of this discussion. The concern is that people are frequently interchanging the two values (sales and trade). Using the secondary purchase price of a beer in many cases will devalue the beer for secondary trading.

Grumpy old man "Trading is dead" post below.

Secondary sucks and has ruined trading imo. To answer your first question...People think they are equal because they can just sell and buy. I DO NOT condone this but it's the response I get on FB when I have commented a certain beer trades higher than it sells for. Also, for all those shitlords why lose any value when you can do just that (sell and buy). I have also read comments that it takes all the emotions out of trading (selling and buying is easier). Unfortunately, this is true for most higher end brews.

I do not know why people believe razzle values are gospel. It's legit, the dumbest thing I've ever heard. 10 idiots throw down 20 each and immediately the beer is worth 200 despite taste or quality.

I also don't know why people believe a beer is worth a certain value when it's been artificially inflated by 1 guy trading bourbon for it (ie BBT b2, and most recently Voodoo BM). You all know the guy if you're in any FB trading groups.

Sorry for the rant. Just my 2 cents.

I’ve traded several Belle Meade offerings before. See a lot of great options here in Nashville.

What has the honey trade for? Apparently a lot from what I've heard.

A whole hell of a lot. It’s $150 and one per person at the distillery. Would take something big to loosen that up.

Any idea what a Cycle Weekday set would trade for? And how about the coming Cigar City TBBW set?

Do we know what the CCB TBBW bottles will be? That stuff has always been very underhyped so I wouldn't pin any hopes on it, unless there's a Huna variant. And even then, considering there was just a Huna variant in this El Cat round and it got no hype, it's unlikely to garner any trade value outside of cost.

Looking for some help with a couple of Toppling Goalith stouts...How big of a plus(s) would be needed to secure a KBBS (any batch) for a TG X? Or is it close to being 1:1?

Thinking a barrel slayer as a plus may do it for the latest batch of KBBS.

I need to start planting some KBBS seeds in my backyard.

Any gardening tips? I've already got a headstart on keeping the land fresh with grazing Chocobo.

I heard if you bury a KBS and sprinkle some trimmings from a neckbeard, a KBBS will sprout in about 7 days. The grazing Chocobo may speed up the process.
