Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, passion fruit, papaya, mango, citrus peel/rinds, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, floral, grass. Light-moderate bitterness. Awesome Citra, Simcoe, & El Dorado profile. Really damn good. My review skills need somewrok.

Morning Shelf Turds from December. But...this is the advantage of a Stout. Until they are 7-8 months out, you don't notice as much. HA REAPER

Cover the can and you might think it were a hazy, Tree House NEIPA, but instead, it is my standby breakfast drink, Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen Grapefruit. Prost!

Singlecut Diamond Star Halo. Awesome NEIPA. Great fluffy head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, biscuit, light toast malts; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; creamy/bready/grainy malts and some sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, not overly aggressive. Minimal warming 6.6% or lingering hop burn after the finish. Fantastic Galaxy profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Really impressive as expected! 4.1

Are you drinking that beer or just admiring the can? Crack it, pour it, and crank it!

Returning to my hometown, Hickory North Carolina. Starting with a visit to the olde hickory station, having their Event Horizon imperial stout plus a sample of Arrogant Bastard Jagermeister the bartender was kind enough to give me.

Good Thursday morning! Lots of activity going on around me. There are five houses being built on the street behind me, all in different stages of development. Watching the workers and drinking KBS

Firestone Walker's FlyJack: a light, very sessionable, hazy IPA at 4.0% ABV.

A great impresario. Love the story telling. Music taking flight. Just sitting back and chilling.

Next stop is the nearby Craft Beer Cellar, sipping some olde hickory Lindley Park, another old favorite of mine. Today's going to be a trip down memory lane.

Agreed. And while it's all debatable, but I find Hubert to be better than their (Melvin) IPA. In the same way that I like Lizard King over NvsUnicorn (Pipeworks). Not meant to be fightin' words - I just think the 'balance' is better on these 6% beers. (Kinda like Crooked Stave's 6% IPA). Also the way that "some of us" not all of us, like Blind Pig over Pliny the E (RR).
    Cheers!
